Last Days Of Freedom Hop. Alexandra Hawkins review.

Super excited to be taking part in the Last days Of Freedom Giveaway hop.  This hop is being hosted by I am a reader not a writer and The Elliott Review

Here at the Simply Me you have the chance to win All Afternoon with a Scandalous Marquess by Alexandra Hawkins!
Before I start my review and giveaway I want to tell you a bit about Alexandra Hawkins.  The woman's books are what got me addicted to romance!  Her book 'All night with a Rogue' was my very first romance book and since then I have not been able to stop reading romance!!  My hubby blames her for all the nights I have our night light on until 3am reading :)
All Afternoon with a Scandalous Marquess is the 5th book in her Lords of Vice series.  Each book is about a different Lord of Vice and about the scandalous life they live.  Scandalous that is until a woman enters each of their lives one by one and tame them.
Here is the Series
All Night with a Rogue
Till Dawn With the Devil
 After Dark with a Scoundrel
 Sunrise with a Notorious lord
All Afternoon with a Scandalous Marquess

I loved the adventure and drama each book has woven into the pages.  I love the fact that the heroines are never in need of saving and instead seem to be strong and able to care for themselves.    Alexandra Hawkins has created a world that you wish you could be part of!  Her books stay with you long after you read them and I personally can't wait until the release of each book to the point that I stalk her facebook page waiting for a release date announcements!

Wondering why I'm telling you so much about this amazing author?  Because here at Simply Me you can win the newly released installment of her Lords of Vice series
All Afternoon with a Scandalous Marquess!!!

My review:
Simon Jefferes, the Marquess of Sainthill AKA Saint has fallen in love.  The woman haunts his thoughts and he can't seem to get her out of his head.  Only there is a problem his love interest happens to be the notorious Madame Venna owner of London's most exclusive brothels.
Madame Venna is an exclusive beauty who hides her identity behind a half mask.  The mask not only hides who she is, but it also protects her heart.  Years of pain and a haunting past have taught her not to trust.  But she finds herself unable to to keep her walls up when a very determined Saint is set on ripping them down.

We start off years prior to when our story takes place.  To a very young Madame Venna known then as Catherine, we get a glimpse into her heart breaking tale.  We also get to glimpse into her strength for Madame Venna refused to be the victim!  The woman Catherine disappears and Madame Venna is born.  She saves herself from a very bad life and runs away to London to build her own and make her own fate.  She becomes the owner of The Golden Pearl brothel.  Running a establishment where men aren't after her heart is perfect for Madame Venna, that is until he shows up.
Saint a notorious Lord of Vice is intrigued  the moment he sees her.  He wants to find out all the secrets this woman hides, but when Saint gets to close to Madame Venna he is punished by being banished from her life.  For 6 years Saint seeks to punish the woman and himself until his love and want for her can wait no more and he sets out to earn the lady's love.
Just as Saint sets his heart on Madame Venna another woman enters his life.  Catherine the woman is maddening with her quick dismissal of him!  Saint slowly earns her trust and introduces Catherine to his friends.  Though his love for Madame Venna is still there.  Saint finds himself torn between the two woman....
That is until he discovers a little secret...........
Madame Venna and Catherine are in fact the same woman!
Determined to have this woman in his life Saint decides to go above and beyond and conquer her heart.

I LOVED this book and can't wait for the next Lord's of Vice book.  For more information about this series and author see the link below.
