Pizza Potatoes

Pizza Potatoes

The recipe I'm about to share is perfect as a rustic side dish and even as a party dish!  Often I will make this on football Sunday and my hubby will pick at it all day!

What you Need:

6 Potatoes
1 can Dei Fratelli pizza sauce
1/2 cup Dei Fratelli chopped Italian tomatoes
1 tablespoon Garlic Salt
1 bag mozzarella cheese
1 bag pepperoni

Now get ready folks this recipe is so easy anyone could make it!

Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

Remove potato skins and slice them thin

Place sliced potatoes, entire container of pizza sauce, 1/2 c Chopped Italian Tomatoes, tablespoon of garlic salt, mozzarella cheese and pepperonis into a large glass baking dish.
(Please note you can mess with these measurements, if you like a lot of garlic salt add as much as you want.  If you want less pepperoni's only add a portion of the bag.  Its up to you how much you add.)

Mix them together so the pizza sauce somewhat coats everything.

Place in the over and bake for 2 hours.  To see if they are done you can use a fork to test the tenderness of the potatoes.

Remove and eat!  If you are taking them to party put them into a crock-pot to keep them warm :)

I plan to enter this recipe into the 2014 Dei Frateli ripened recipe contest and guess what you can enter too!!
