My first holiday pet review!!  As most folks know I have 2 little (Human) boys and 4 fur babies.  I love my pups and cat, they are my family and as with all my other family members I want to make sure they get only the best.

For those of you whom never heard of John Paul and his amazing products I want to tell you a bit about what led him to making Pet Salon items.
John Paul DeJoria, co-founder of Paul Mitchell Systems, revolutionized the professional salon industry by banning animal testing for his line of hair products. John Paul’s in-depth expertise in hair and skin care formulations also led to research in new standards for pet grooming and hygiene, which lead to the creation of John Paul Pet shampoos, conditioners, sprays and pet wipes.

John Paul Pet shampoos and conditioners are pH balanced so they don’t irritate sensitive pet skin and the entire line is “tested on humans first” to ensure effectiveness and safety for all pets.

As a long time pet mama I had to smile at that.  To take a stand and refuse to test products on animals, proves to me his love for pets.  This is the person I want formulating my pets hygiene products.  John Paul wants to take proper care of pets and make sure all their hygienic needs are being meant.   Every product in his line has a lot of time, thought and effort put into them.
Not only do  his products improve pets appearance, but also their overall health.

I was able to pick 3 items to review.  A shampoo, a conditioner and a wipe.

First I choose the Calming Shampoo:  An ultra-rich, two-in-one formula to help nourish and replenish dull, dry coats with a boost of extra moisturizer.  Lucy my black lab has dry skin.  I can always see dandruff in her black fur.  I used the Calming Shampoo a couple of times and already I can see a difference.  Not only is she not itching as much, but there also isn't as much flaky dandruff on her.

Next we reviewed Tea Tree Conditioning Spray: Leave-in conditioner soothes, cools and conditions sensitive skin and hot spots with Australian Tea Tree oil.  Rufus has a skin allergy.  Most of the year its fine, but once in awhile it flairs up and he needs to go on steroid pills to calm it back down.  The thing about the pill is he takes them after he poor skin is already broken out.  He had a flair about a month before I got this product, but at least now the next time I will be prepared and able to offer him some relief!  I did spray a bit on him to smell it (I love tear tree) and I adored the scent :)

Last and not least I had to get something for Emma and Jekyll!  Neither one have a skin condition, but than I remember something little Miss Jekyll hates.. A BATH!  A few months ago Quinn spilled paint all over her, I had to give her a bath and you would have sword I was killing her.  The crying and trying to jump out of the tub (Of one inch water).  After her bath I made a deal with her that we would only do that again if 100000% necessary.

So for her and Emma I got the All Over Body wipes:   Full Body & Paw Wipes that are designed to help keep your cat clean, fresh smelling and moisturized in between his or her baths. These Wipes are enriched with lanolin to replenish your cat’s coat.

Full Body & Paw Wipes are ideal for dealing with sensitive skin, and they are pre-moistened which allows them to be soft and gentle while cleaning delicate areas such as between the toes and around the tail. These grooming and bathing wipes are perfect for a quick clean up. They are also well suited for helping to remove dander and loose hair in the coat and to moisten the skin to keep it healthy.
She actually let me whip her down and only started to fuss when I attempted to wipe down her little belly :)

Another thing I love about these wipes is rainy days...  I know a few of you are thinking oh god what is she talking about now, but anyone who ever took a pup out on a muddy rainy day will know just how much damage those paws can do!  I love that these wipes make it super easy to wipe down their paws and keep the mud out of my house!

The products in this post are only 3 of many.  Each product was perfectly crafted and made with love and pets well being in mind.
