Little Tikes Fish 'n Splash Water Table

My boys love fishing. We live in PA so thankfully we have lots of options. Also every year my dad hosts a Make-A-Wish fishing rodeo to raise money for the child his girls softball team is sponsoring.

Needless to say my boys help set up and spend the entire day fishing.  Brandon Jr was lucky and caught a tagged fished this year, the prize he choose was of course a new fishing rod....  You know the old one was an entire year old, he needed an updated one lol.

Now I am going to let you in on a little secret.... I HATE FISHING!  I hate the smell of fish, the bait grosses me out (I swear every year I get power bait under my nails.) When I see my hubby take a hook from a fishes mouth I get queasy and to really top it off I am a horrible fisher-women.  I can't tie a hook, I have no clue how to weight a line and when my boys catch fish some little part of me feels horrible for the poor little guy.  How am I suppose to know it is not a little Nemo and somewhere his pop is looking for him?!?!?
;)

So during the day when my dad and hubby are at work the boys can't fish.  At least they can't fish for real fish thanks to Little Tikes Fish 'n Splash Water Table my boys can now pretend fish in the back yard!
I love how Little Tikes always seems to know exactly what kids love and in someway incorporate that into everyday play.

As always I feel the need to mention how easily Little Tikes products assemble!

Literally no tools needed for the Fish 'n Splash Water Table everything simply snaps into place.
And don't let this fool you into thinking their products are flimsy I still have all Brandon's fisher price toys from 2007 when he was a baby!  Heck I think my mom still has my Cozy Coupe (My brother and I use to call it a Flintstone Car since you need to use your feet :).)

Okay so we know the water table features fishing, but that isn't all.  Each fish (and other sea creature) has a number to help promote counting.  Brandon Jr is helping Quinn with his number so he would tell Quinn to catch a certain numbered fish.

Also the table has a cute fishing rod and little net to really give it that authentic fishing feel.

Next up was the fishing bowl at the top.  The boys loved filling this up and then dumping it down only the spinning lily pad!  Again we practiced numbers and made a game out of how many "cups" it would take before it tipped out.

Now as you know Brandon is 7 so I didn't think this would really be his age department.  I was so wrong.  He loves the fishing and even likes making a game out of the dumping water, but his favorite part was the launcher!  Yes you read that right there is a super cute launcher that can be used to launch the fish and other creatures.

Both boys had a blast with this and could be heard giggling as their little water buddies went flying.

Some other things I really enjoyed was the fact I can pull up a plug to drain it.  I don't have to tip the table over, simply pull up and let the water out.

There was so many different things to do it was great for multiply kids to play at once.

I think it holds 7 gallons of water so there was a lot of water for the kids to splash in.

And parents it kept them entertained for hours!  I was able to do some gardening.  I even got the chance to pull some weeds, it got to the point where I had to take them inside because it was getting dark!
