My prize if a $50 dollar value and something that is a must have for school season.

Here at Simply Me you can win a Vicks Behind the Ear Thermometer.    Wondering what that has to do with back to school?  Back to school means your kids are going to be coming in contact with more germs then normal :(  I know sad to think about, my son starts preschool this year and its a huge worry for me.  With the Vicks Behind the Ear Thermometer we can make those home from school sick days so much easier!

Please read below for my review and giveaway.

Remember the last time your kids were sick and you had such an amazing time trying to get them to lay still so you can take their temperature?!?!  JOKING!!  If you are like me taking a sick child's temperature is like a personal form of torture!  They fuss, they scream, I even got kicked once. This is on top of the fact they are sick.  Then when you finally get them to sleep they wake up when you try and check again for a fever.  Lifting their arm or for younger babies.... well you know.... its horrible because you know they are going to wake up, but at the same time you have to check the state of their fever......
Want to know about a new product that takes a 1 second reading and all you have to do is touch it behind their ear.
Vicks Behind Ear Thermometer.
Vicks behind the Ear Thermometer is clinical accurate and gets a reading after only a 1 second touch behind the ear.  And to make it even easier it lights up green, yellow or red to let you know is your child has no fever, slightly elevated temperature, or a fever?  Are you wondering how I tested this?  What did I think?

Test subject: Quinn (yes he is wearing his brother Brandon's shirt.  And yes he did just eat an Oreo.)
Quinn does not like to sit, see exhibit a, b, c, d, and e.

Telling Quinn to sit still is like talking to a wall.  Even on a good day!

This is Quinn hiding when I asked if he has a fever.....

I told Quinn I promise it will only take a second and I only have to touch behind his ear.   I LOVE the look of doubt on his face!

The test....  Touch, press, and beep!
Quinn is now a believer!  Minimal fussing from me and Quinn is still a happy baby!

All joking aside I loved this thermometer!
It really is so easy to use and saves so much trouble when checking for a fever!
I love the fact its lights up to indicate no fever, slightly elevated, and fever.  It takes the guess work out of it.
Also the screen is super easy to read.  Its on a large LCD display.
Also it saves the last 8 measurements so you can see if the fever is going down.
Best of all you can buy it at a store near you I know for sure its at Rite Aid, Target , Walmart, and walgreens.

I didn't realize it was that many.My daughter is grown but I'm around my 2 neices all the time.Unfortunately I get whatever they have. This yr I'm going to get a flu shot. I'm also going to buy a humidifier since I know now that those help a lot. Thanks so much for the important info. :)

  4. I learned that a recent study of findings suggests that maintaining an indoor humidity level between 40-60% can reduce the survival of flu viruses on surfaces and in the air. Thanks.
