Kauffman's Fruit Farm Review and giveaway

I live in PA and I will be the first to admit my state is boring!  Well at least the area I live in.  The one thing PA does have is amazing food!  It wasn't until I made a few friends outside of PA that I realized this!  I would tell them I was hungry for whoopie pies, apple butter, red beat eggs, Shoofly pie and so on.  Then I would get a weird look and asked if I was speaking English lol it broke my heart to know some people don't know about these Delicious foods!  I may not be able to introduce you to all of PA's fine food choices, but I can start off by introducing you to Kauffman's Fruit Farms.  They strive to bring Pennsylvania Dutch Country into your home!
Its family owned and a lot of love and heart go into each of their products.  And everything on their site is local to my area!  So all USA product :).

I was able to review 2 products from Kauffman's Fruit Farms:
Sweet Dried Apple Snitz
and
Homemade Apple Butter with sugar and spice

First I want to talk about the Dried apple's.  These were the perfect snack for my kids. They are homemade.  Made from fresh, naturally sweet apples (most often the Rome Beauty variety) and air-dried right at the farm, with no additives or preservatives.  These can be used to cook with, but my kids just love to eat them as is.  I'm sure you know since nothing is added these are a super healthy snack and the natural flavor is amazing!

Next I was able to review something I LOVE Apple Butter!!  Apple butter is amazing on toast, bagels, buns and so much more!  I could eat this everyday and never get sick of.  The secret to good apple butter is add just the right amount of ingredient without over powering the yummy apple taste.  And Kauffman's Fruit Farm does this perfectly!  You can also use apple butter when baking cookies or cake.  For those of you whom never had apple butter its almost like apple sauce just thicker and I think has a more rich and intense flavor.

These are just 2 of the many items on the site.  They also have jams, sauces, pancake mixes, candy, cider, honey and so much more!!

Kauffman's Fruit Farm is the very essences of PA food!  They keep it simple and tasty!  I hope you will trust me and try some of their amazing food.  Beware I have a feeling after getting a small taste you will keep going back for more!
