MY DOG THE CHAMPION review
Synopsis:
My Dog the Champion is the inspiring story of an unlikely friendship between a born-and-bred teenage city girl and a cattle dog. The meaningful story begins when Madison, a spoiled city teen, learns that her mother is being deployed to Afghanistan. She is suddenly forced to uproot to the country and live on her grandfather Billy’s cattle ranch – in the middle of nowhere. Facing the hardships of farm life and her feelings of loneliness, she befriends Scout, the farm’s old and “useless” cattle dog. The new companions quickly form a special bond. And when the family farm becomes threatened, Madison, with some help from Eli, a teenage dog trainer, trains Scout to be an agility champion and together they compete with the hope of saving their home. Side by side, the determined duo proves the heart of a champion never dies.
My Dog the Champion, a story of friendship, love, teamwork, and challenges, is a must see movie for families everywhere.

My review:
One thing my family loves to do in the winter time is have movie night. In PA its way to cold to be outdoors all the time. So we normally make Saturday our family movie night. With 2 young boys I have to make sure the movies are family friendly and My Dog The Champion is for sure a family film.
This movie is not only heart warming, but its also inspirational. My hubby and I loved it as much as the boys did. We were both Friday Night lights fans so we were excited to see one of our favorite cast members in this film!! The story line of a young girl being taking away from the life she knows and thrown into the unknown. Instead of being defeated she makes an unlikely friend in the farm dog. Pushing both of them to new heights and proving anything is possible.
I loved this movie and I know it would make the perfect family film for anyone :)
