MOMS' NIGHT OUT party

I'm sure a few of you read that title and thought 'Wow a Moms' night out would be wonderful!'  Don't worry I did too, I can't remember the last time I got together with my girlfriends and just did grown up things!  I'm always bringing my kids along and as much as I love them I would love one dinner where I didn't have to pick food up off the floor.  Or I would love to go to the movies and just ya know be able to watch the movie!  When I got the email that I would be able to host a MOMS' Night out it inspired me to take that break and do something with my friends.

So I told my hubby to make plans with the boys because they were kicked out of the house for 2 hours :)!
I had a few friends come over and we watched movies (Fun adult movies where not everyone is a cartoon!!) and we talked and just had a blast!!

Not everyone wanted their photo taking, but here are a few from the party :).
My mom!!

Oh and I even tried a revised recipe!
One of the items in my party kit was In the Raw Sweetener I wanted to try it in a recipe I already love...

I simply made my bbq mixture which is
1 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 tablespoon In the Raw Monk fruit sweetener (This is the revised part I normally use brown sugar)
2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
A little salt and pepper

I then added this bbq sauce to my grilled chicken and then wrapped it in a Pillsbury garlic crescent roll!

I had a lot of chicken left over so I made another batch of BBQ sauce and made some BBQ chicken rice :)

I was excited to see in the raw in my party box and after using it I can def. say I can see it being a big part of my kitchen in the future!!

All this was in participation for the new Comedy ~Moms' Night Out~
