Synopsis:
In a war-torn country that is plagued by a vicious dragon, Ellen, a noblewoman, accompanies her aunt on a mission to bring an ancient relic to the secret coronation of the rightful king. When her aunt is murdered on the road by passing soldiers, Ellen hires a smuggler and criminal, Aedin, to escort her across the dangerous country. But Corvus, a rogue magister of the empire, craves the relic for his own evil designs. Ellen must find within herself the strength to fulfill her aunt's calling to free the people, and become the Paladin—the long foretold dragon slayer.
Few of you may know this, but I'm kind of a dork. I love Lord of the Rings, come Spring time my Sundays evolves around Game of Thrones. And my sister Boyfriend and I can't wait until the next Hobbit comes out in theaters.
Anything to do with dragons or fantasy are my favorite movies/tv shows.
The Crown and the Dragon: The Paladin Cycle is definitely my type of movie. It has the perfect balance of fantasy and story!
I love that the main character is female! To often the male is the hero and saves the day. So I really enjoyed seeing Ellen take this role.
