NCircle Room on the Broom review

Halloween is quickly approaching and with it all the yummy treats and fun movies. I myself look forward to the decor and well pumpkin roll :)!!
One of my kids favorite things is watching Halloween movies. Now my kids are only 3 and 6 so when I say Halloween movies I mean Spooky Buddies, Alvin and the Chipmunks meet wolf man and their new favorite Room on the Broom.

I remember when this movie came out and I desperately kept checking my redbox hoping it would come in and sadly it never did.  When I found out I would be able to review it I was so excited!  It took a year, but my little guys were finally able to see one of their favorite books come to life on DVD.

Room on the Broom is about a delightful witch and her cat.  As they are flying the witch keeps losing her items.  A dog, a frog and a bird help her to relocate them and each time the ask if there is room on the broom she invites her new friend to join her and her now disgruntle cat on the broom.  Space soon becomes limited and everyone is a bit cramped and soon the broom is ruined!  The poor witch is then captured by a dragon and her friends must save her.  When everyone is safe and sound the witch preforms a spell that makes her broom bigger and better allowing room for everyone!  The bird gets a nest, the frog gets a water bowl, the cat and dog each get seats and of course the witch has a seat too!
The movie followed the book 100%, the root of the story is about friendship, working together and accepting each other.  The animation in the DVD was as lovely as the book.  The story is heartwarming and is sure to put a smile on any face.
And I know I mentioned Halloween and this is a great movie to get into Halloween mood, but its also a great anytime movie.  I can see us watching it year round.
If asked what age group would most enjoy it I would have to say everyone!  My boys liked it, my hubby and I liked it and they even took it to my grandmothers to watch and she enjoyed it.
It is one of those films that the entire family will like :)

This has nothing to do with my review, but I wanted to share.  I asked Quinn if the cat was his favorite and he looked at me and said "Its a tiger.."  I said "Its not a tiger, a tiger wouldn't fit on the broom."  In a completly serious face Quinn told me... "There is always room on the broom!!!"  I had to giggle and yes he still thinks its a tiger, when he gets a thought in his head nothing I say or do will get it out.
