2014 50th anniversay Hess holiday toy Truck review

In 1964, Leon Hess, founder of Hess Corporation, began offering toy trucks as a thank you to loyal customers.  He had no way of knowing that he was about to start a life time family tradition.  Now my dad didn't get a Hess Truck every year for Christmas, but instead every other year.  I use to smile when he would get out his condition boxes and show me and my siblings his old Hess Trucks.  He then got out my first Hess Truck and then my 2nd and so on.  Unlike him I got on almost every year for Christmas and I actually looked forward to adding my collection to my dads.  In 2007 Brandon Jr was born on November 1st, way to young to play with Trucks, but trust me that didn't stop me and my dad from going out and getting him his first one for Christmas!

In1964 what started as away to reward loyal customers, has turned into one of my favorite holiday traditions  and I can safely say I can see Hess Trucks gracing even my grand children's Christmas days :)
