Adventure Time is one of my guilty pleasures. Sometimes when I let the boys pick a TV show to watch I will go through the guide and tell them what is on. Whenever I get to Adventure Time I really try to make them pick it!! I even go as far as to pretend nothing else is on.
And my kids don't care because they love Adventure Time too. Don't get me wrong they also love watching other cartoons the ones that are trying to teach them stuff, but at the same time who wants to sit around watching the kiddy form of Discovery Channel all day?? Learning is fun, but we all need a break. And Adventure Time offers that fun no strings (learning) attached break that kids LOVE.

The DVD set is a collection of some of the best episodes from the seasons! I love Adventure Time, because it is all about being active and having an adventure. The characters are silly and always themselves which I really like. I know in some scenes Finn and his friends do some dumb stuff that we don't want our kids to do. In all honesty though my kiddos aren't that impressionable that if they see Finn trying to jump into a volcano they are going to suddenly want to try it. My hubby and I even like the show and sit down with the kids and normally watch it :).
Each character has their own charm and humor, I love the dialog and normally find myself laughing at something Finn says and than of course Jake's witty comeback.
The bases of the show is about a boy and his dog friend going on an adventure and helping others along the way. They battle bad guys, save people and have a lot of fun while doing it.
It is a great show, with a fun story line and even funnier characters.
