Lindt pairings
Now you may have seen in my previous post all the wonderful products Lindt has to offer. Well maybe not all, but a few :).
Now I want to talk to you about Lindt Pairing, because what goes better with chocolate then Chardonnay?
I was sent Lindt EXCELLENCE Pineapple to be paired with J. Lohr Chardonnay.
So while I may like to eat chocolate and yes even gift it, I also like to enjoy it! Chocolate and reading is one of my favorite past times and their are weekends when my parents take the boys and my hubby and I just want to relax.
One of our favorite ways is to curl up on the couch watch bad TV, eat chocolate and yes even enjoy a glass of some sort of wine.
I mean really want could be more fun than having chocolate that doesn't need to be shared with kiddos?
And I noticed that if you take the right piece of chocolate and the right wine you have a masterful work of taste bud art!
Instead of battling each other they combine and enhance each other.
Now I wasn't sure about the pineapple taste with wine. I kept thinking wouldn't that be to much sweetness?
I was so wrong! The Chardonnay really brought out the Pineapple taste in the chocolate without over powering it. I am not even a fan of dark chocolate and I enjoyed it!
The Lindt Excellence Pineapple is a harmonious blend of silky dark chocolate elegantly combined with naturally sweet pineapple & carmelized hazelnut pieces. Masterfully made to pair with Chardonnay, it provides the perfect pairing for white wine & dark chocolate lovers.
Lindt Pineapple Excellence
My hubby's birthday was on the 4th and after we put the boys to sleep we went to the living turned on our DVR and started one of our famous wine, chocolate and bad TV relaxations.
Even my hubby agreed the two together tasted pretty good and he wants to try it with the Raspberry in our assorted box.
I don't get to have a huge holiday party this year, but I am still having a few friends over for a cookie party. I have been trying to come up with a tasty wine and cookie pairing.
I have a feeling I may just skip that and just pair my wine with Lindt chocolate.
The ladies in my book club are going to love this new combination!
Now this is only one of the many pairings you could make! As my hubby said I am sure Lind Raspberry chocolate would taste amazing too and would so many other Lindt chocolates!
Give your next party a bit of sophistication with a Lindt and wine pairing!!
