THE HERO OF COLOR CITY
The Imaginative Animated Adventure That Received The Coveted 5 Dove Rating Arrives On Blu-ray Disc And DVD December 2 From
Magnolia Home Entertainment
Synopsis
Each night, when Ben falls asleep, his Crayons' magical Crayon Box transports them to Color City, a world of dazzling hues, soaring fantasy and the whimsy of childhood.
When timid Yellow is accidentally left behind in Ben's room, she inadvertently awakens two Unfinished Drawings: King Scrawl, a huge, mute monster, and Gnat, Scrawl's overactive sidekick. They follow Yellow to Color City and claim the enchanted Rainbow Waterfall and all of it’s color for themselves. Soon Color City will fade and our lovable crayon characters will disappear.
It's up to Yellow and her pals, Blue, Green, Red, and the twins, Black and White, to save the day. Meeting with fantastical creatures and fun adventures along the way, Yellow discovers she has more courage and strength than she knew and learns to believe in herself and to count on the support of her friends.
Replete with valuable life lessons, this enchanting story will entertain and inspire in a stunningly rendered and utterly unique animated world.
In support of the December 2 release, Magnolia Pictures has partnered with the non-profit organization, The Crayon Collection. The group collects crayons from national and regional restaurant chains to donate to children in need.
My review:
My boys are now 4 & 7 and have huge imaginations. My boys are convinced at night time the people in our snow globes come alive and walk about the house taking notes for Santa.
I love that they believe in such magic, where anything is possible.
The Hero of Color City promotes this type of magic and imaginative play. These sweet crayons come alive and travel to a different world. They are all lovable and have huge personalities.
The adventure is super fun and kids adore the story line.
My boys have watched it over and over again. I don't see them getting sick of it anytime soon.
It is good clean fun and perfect for small children.
