Gorton's Smart & Crunchy review
In 2007 when I first found out I was going to be a mother I had this whole image on what a wonderful mom I was going to be.
There was going to be a pristine clean house, arts and crafts, perfectly ironed clothing, waking up at 5 am so I could make them a 3 course breakfast before school, play dates and home cooked meals every night.... WITH HOME MADE DESSERTS!!
Fast forward several years and reality settled in now I have certain rooms in my house that when guest come over I run and close the door so they can't see it, arts and crafts consist of coloring books and crayons, perfectly ironed clothing BHAHAHA I am lucky to get all the laundry cleaned let alone pressed, breakfast consist of whatever fruit is on hand, play dates are a thing of the past (Other peoples kids annoy me lol) and yes chocolate pudding cups do count as dessert.
Even though are meals are not always home cooked, I try my hardest to make sure my boys get only the best.
I want to make sure meal time is not only family time, but also healthy time.

Sometimes though those home-cooked meals don't happen from scratch. There are nights when we have sports, PTO meetings, church club and hundreds of other things that we need to squeeze in.
I want to be able to do these things with my kiddos and still provide them with healthy food. And not just pop any old thing into the oven.
Which is why I am super excited about Gorton's NEW Smart & Crunchy fish sticks and fillets!!

I hate when I put something in the oven and it comes out sorta soggy. I can never seem to get that restaurant crunch. We bought the Smart and Crunchy fish sticks and all I have to say is WOW
They have that crunch without me having to fry them.
And as always Gorton gets and A+++ with taste.
Now these are great for stand alone, which often times I have made fish sticks for lunch and that was all. The thing I love about Gorton's though is they can also be added to meals we already love. The Gorton's site has a super yummy recipe for Fish Parmesan.
It taste great, easy to make and quick for those nights when we just don't have the time.
Whether you have 30 minutes or 2 hours Gorton's is a meal that fits into life.
Life happens, I can't always make home-cooked meals and thanks to Gorton's NEW Smart & Crunchy meals I no longer have to feel guilty.
They may not be home-made, but they sure taste like it :)
