Little Tikes Treasure Hunt Sand & Water Table

It is no secret that given the choice between indoors and out my boys would pick outside every time!  And why wouldn't they?  The outdoors offers so much in natural play, not to mention all the great outdoor toys and equipment we have :).

Since summer vacation has started I had to force my boys to come in everyday.  To them summer means we no longer have to eat meals or sleep in a bed.  Their sole purpose is to get in as much playtime as possible lol

I mentioned before I do have lots of things to keep them entertained, they are never wanting for things to do.
The newest addition to our yard has been a huge hit!  It is a toy that has both sand and water??  I mean really what more could a kid ask for?

My kids had a blast looking for buried treasure in the Little Tikes Treasure Hunt Sand & Water Table.

In the sand section kids can not only sift the sand to find buried treasure, but they can also take that treasure back to the ocean with the little train cart.  Don't worry the fun doesn't stop there, because of course there is a tiny boat waiting to take the treasure :).
The train track around the sand box is cute.  It even feature a little tunnel and slight incline.  My boys liked to pretend pirates were after the treasure so they had to move as quick as possible to get it back to the sea.
My boys loved getting shovels full of sand to put in the up-top shifter and hurriedly shifting away to find their treasure.
We do have a sand box at home already, but it was nothing compared to the imaginationinal play that the Treasure Hunt Sand & Water Table promotes.

Next up of course was the water table part.  This is also the lid when you wish to cover up your sand. It is super cute and offered even more ways to play.  My boys used it to wash off their treasures and even though their train cart saved the treasure for the sand pirates, we now have ocean pirates that still gave chase!
They even sat in here on really hot days to cool down :)

The table was loaded with fun and offered so much for kiddos to do!  My boys had a blast and as always Little Tikes offers them a toy that is fun, plays on their imagination and will last for years to come.
