Descendants

During the school year my boys are in bed no later then 8:30.  Well most of the time, on Sunday nights I let them stay up a little bit later to watch Once Upon a time with me and the hubby.  It started when they seen Frozen would be on, then they made me go on Netflix and re-watch every episode ever!  My boys loved it, so when I seen the description of Descendants I couldn't wait to share it with them!  It reminds me of Once Upon a Time, but the movie focuses on the Villains kiddos and it is aimed towards kids.

 About:
Meet the next generation of villains in Disney's Descendants!  Imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost, home of the most infamous villains who ever lived. the kids of Maleficent, the evil queen, jafar and Cruella De vil have never ventured off the island.... Until now.  Sent to idyllic Auradon, to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney Heroes, these villainous kids must excute a plan that helps their evil parents achieve "world domination" once again!  Will Maleficent's daughter and the other rebel teens follow in their rotten parents' footsteps or will they choose to embrace their innate goodness and save the kingdom?

So if you are all ready to hate the villains, be prepared for a shock!  Mal, Jay, Carlos and Evie become the heart of the story.

It all starts when the son of a famous hero couple ( Ben, the teenaged son of King "Beast" and Queen Belle) decides as his first act as leader a reprieve to some of the villains children.  A chance at redemption.  4 are chosen to attended Auradon prep.  They choose these four because they show potential for goodness.  When they are at Auradon Prep the must choose to either follow their parents and be bad or choose the harder road of being good.
They arrive with the intention to do evil, but as the movie progresses so do they.

I loved that we got to meet the children of so many classic heroes!   Mulan, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty just to name a few.
The singing was amazing and the acting even better!  Like all Disney Movies the magic was there and Descendants is a film the entire family will love.

My youngest is 4 and my hubby is 30 and both enjoyed it.  So when I say the whole family I really mean it.
