Healthy Skin = Happy Skin

Healthy Skin = Happy Skin

Sun, chlorine, makeup, debris, dirt, oil, sweat and wind.  My poor skin has so much working against it, I'm amazed it doesn't break out more.  A facial breakout is pretty common for me this time of the year.  In the winter I struggle with dry, itchy and tight skin.  In the summer I suffer from skin I just cant seem to keep clean and breakout free.  I hate trying new things.  I had facial cleaners leave burn like marks on my face before, I had eye-make-up remover that made my eyes puff up until they were nearly closed and I even had "sugar" lip scrub that I swear removed 10 layers of skin.
I'm pretty picky when it comes to "facial" care.
Recently I discovered Exposed Skin Care.

A complete line of products that are FDA approved to help clean up skin.
I don't know about you, but that FDA approval always seems to put me a bit more at ease.
Let me tell you a bit more about the company.
The Exposed acne treatment is the first full system that not only treats acne, but also prevents acne in ways that were previously thought impossible.
Exposed does so much more than you every day acne regiment!  Why you may ask?
It is designed to unclog blocked pores, kill acne causing bacteria and help your skin normalize the levels of sebum production, aid in the healing of skin lesions and reduce redness.
I was able to review one of their kits.

Okay now I will be honest with you when I started to use Exposed Skin Care I didn't have a break out.  I did spend a few days at an amusement park though and my skin was feeling less then stellar.  I had that gross over exposed to the elements feeling.  I started to use Exposed the night I came home and by the next morning my skin felt "relieved."  That is honestly the best word I can think to use.  It felt clean and refreshed and like all the dirt and debris from the day before was removed.

So I kept using it.  By the end of the week my skin start to look healthier.  Even my hubby noticed a glow and started to use it himself!  Yes I have to share my beauty products with my hubby.
In all honesty though Exposed skin care is great for both men and women.

So let me break it down how I used the products.
I started off by getting my Derm-X Cloth wet.  This is a special cloth that helps to deep exfoliate and really get the dirt from your skin.
Step 2
 Facial cleaner:
The Exposed facial cleanser is a rich yet gentle face wash that is soap-free, non-comedogenic and hypo-allergenic.
It removes the oil and dirt from your face while penetrating your pores to kill acne causing bacteria and maintaining your skin's important layer.

Step 3
Clearing Tonic:
The tonic penetrates pores to control blackheads and whiteheads.  It also helps to return skin to its natural healthy glow. Oh and it is Paraben free!

Step 4
Acne Treatment Serum
I use this first thing in the morning after the Clearing Tonic. The helps to prevent new breakouts.

OR

Clear Pore Serum
I like to rotate between the two.  I use the acne treatment in the morning and the Clear Pore Serum before bed!  Both help to keep my skin clean and clear.

Last but not least is the Clarifying Mask.  I only used this once so far.  It doesn't need to be used daily.  I love have clean my face feels after using this mask.  It really helps to get the deep rooted dirt out.  I like to use it on the weekends.  After a full week of wearing makeup every day my face feels horrible.  The Clarifying Mask really helps to refresh my skin and make it feel smooth and health again.

The products I mentioned are only a few of many.  They also sell kits so you don't have to buy each product by its self.

Okay even better they have products that help clear up body acne.  We all know acne isn't contained only to the face.  So if you suffer from body acne you def. want to check out their body care kit.

Oh and it has no harsh smell!  I hate facial cleaners that smell like medicine Exposed Skin care products just have an almost fresh like smell.  My hubby claims it smells like bubble bath.... I don't know about that, but I do know it smells pretty good :)
Healthy Skin equals happy skin and after almost 2 weeks of using Exposed Skin Care my skin is feeling pretty happy!
