I am a sucker for caramel! It is one of those treats that you can never just eat one. And a good piece of Caramel has the perfect texture and taste to make a scrumptious treat.

My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw pumpkin spice! I am a pumpkin junkie and I thought I already already enjoyed pumpkin every way possible..... Oh has wrong I was! These are so good
Shotwell Candy Co offers soft, rich in flavor caramel. They practically melt in your mouth they are that buttery soft.
And each flavor is unique in its own way.
I have eaten lots of caramel in my 31 years of life, but this has to be the smoothest/softest! I hate when you have to chew a lot of caramel I wont lie it hurts my jaw. With this caramel I honestly put it into my mouth and suck on it. Almost instantly it becomes soft and the flavors burst out of it. They must use a truly unique process to get their caramel so good!
The greatness at Shotwell candy doesn't end there.
As if their candy wasn't good enough to make me keep coming back for more I think the origin story is super sweet.
First off that name "Shotwell" is after the owners great-grandfather! I don't know about you, but my family is my life. The fact this man named his business after someone in his family tells me that the company means a lot to him.
Next I was impressed that the company started with him only wanting to make tasty gifts for his friends and family. These recipes were crafted originally for his loved ones.
And finally I love the fact Shotwell Candy Co is family owned and they do everything! The recipes, the logos and even the wrapping. Everything about this company is handled by them.
They want to make sure it is all done right :).
I don't know about you, but I wouldn't mind getting some yummy caramel under the tree this Christmas.
I would claim it would be a great treat for holiday parties too, but I have a feeling I wouldn't be willing to share!!
