My boys and I tend to make handmade gifts around the holidays. Some times it can be a batch of cookies, a knitted scarf and even a Ball Jar filled with dry ingredients to make cookies. No matter what it is we put a lot of love and time into them.
This year we have our hearts set on making everyone some homemade jelly!
A few years ago we made some and got so many compliments on the taste we just knew that it would be a hit with the family.
We didn't just want to throw them into a plain jar and hand them out. We wanted something with some style. Something when peopled opened their fridge it would be the first thing they seen.
That is when Ball jar Purple Heritage Collection Jars came in!
These beautiful deep purple jars are stunning! They are darker in dim light, but when under a lighted area they are almost violet.
I have one in my fridge right now and I swear it is the first thing I see when I open the fridge door.
Not only that, but like all other Ball Jars it has that same Ball thickness and durability. And that antique uniqueness to it.
One thing you can always count on with any Ball Jar product is the high quality!
The actually glass is purple so you never have to worry about the color coming up.
Now we are using ours to hand out jelly this holiday season, but that is only 1 of so many uses! I plan to make a pretty flower vase out of one of the ones I have left.
Also I think these would be the cutest decorations! They are great for storing food and I even heard a few people use them as drinking glasses!
The possibilities are endless :)
