In 2007 I became a home owner.  I was only 20 at the time and didn't know much about decor.  I mean really in my mind a clean home was good enough.  Fast forward 8 years and my walls and shelves are filled art, decoration and unique pieces that make my house the home it is.

Last year my hubby told me I could have the entire hallway to do with what I wanted.  At first I hung up family photos.  Walking back my hall is like going down memory lane, some of our favorite times are on those walls.  Next I hung up two candle holder and some exquisite red taper candles.  Last year I added a beauty tree photo called Solitude, and a few months ago I started to write on my spare bedroom door, I wrote all my favorite book quotes to date.  I say to date because I can see this collection growing over the next few years and I still have a lot of door space.
(You can see the door behind me in this photo)

I loved that tree photo so much though I just knew I need to add more.  I took a few of my own and framed them.  My favorite is my Cherry Willow tree during each season.
My collection still wasn't complete though so I began to look around and then I found it at Framedart.com!  They have some of the most beautiful Tree Art Prints I have ever seen!
I was on their site for hours going through all of them until I found the one I just knew I had to have.

The Last Tree by Marcin Stawiarz
I knew the moment I saw it this was the one I was getting.  I wanted to at least pretend to give my hubby a say so I pulled up 5 and told him to pick his favorite.  As we were going through I pulled up this one all nonchalantly and he rolled his eyes.  I of course didn't get it and demanded to know why.
At which point he said "Why even ask me when we both know you picked this one."
BHAAA how did he know lol.  So trust me when I say this photo is me.  To the point that even other people look at it and know it is something I will love.
Most of my decor is black, red and and white.  So the black and whiteness really stuck out to me.  On their site you can actually choose "black and white"  and look at photos in just that color.
Next I like the symbolical feel of the photo.  The play of light and darkness really makes the tree pop and stand out.  I love the Solitude and the fact the tree looks dead and broken.  But even in that brokenness it is still beautiful.

The Canvas is beautiful and the photo transferred perfectly.  A canvas print is only once of the many choices from their site.  You can do framed photos, posters and so much more.  Plus you can pick any size you want and you can even choose the color of you boarders.
They want your art to match you.  They want it to be something you can be proud to put up on your walls and show off.

And of course my photo is only one of hundreds.  I know trees aren't everyone's cup of tea so don't worry they have many more choices.
