Great Pretenders Holiday Gift Guide

I was given products in this post to test and give my honest feedback.  All opinions are my own.

A child's imagination is a wondrous thing.  My boys could take a box and turn it into a car or a space ship with nothing but their imagination.  It is amazing how they can take simple every things and make them something amazing.

As a mom it makes me happy to see them smiling and running about playing together.  We have a whole chest of dress up items for them.  In the past month we have been ghost busters, super heroes, dogs, villains and more recently knights and kings.
We always had cute sword and shield sets, but for the first time ever we have a costume to match the shields and to really take imaginative play to a whole new level.
It is always thrilling to see how a simple dress up piece can change an entire game.  How when you put on knight outfit you suddenly feel the part and hunting down that dragon just got a whole lot more serious.
The thing I love most about the Great Pretenders set we were able to review is it is reverse able!  They can be knight one minute and a king the next.
Okay you can see from the photos how cute these sets are!

Their cuteness speaks for itself.  Let me tell you as a mom what I love.
Softness:
You have no clue how many times Quinn has complained something is "scratchy" or it is rubbing his arm.  The Great Pretenders reverse-able knight and king set is so soft and perfect for little skin.

Easy to put on:
We all have those days when we are elbows deep into a cleaning product and dont feel like washing our hands to help a little one put something on.  This set is so easy for my kids to slip over their heads they need no help from me at all!

Durable:
It may be easy to put on, but not easy to rip.  My boys play rough so I need something that can keep up with them.  So far they faced a dragon, conquered the bathroom and were locked in a dungeon with no rips at all!  The material is polyester and polyurethane foam.  Both hold up great and I can see us getting years of play.

More can be added:
Their site also offers shields, swords and more.  So your little knight of king can add more and more to his little outfit.

This set includes the body piece a kings crown and even a knights hood.  My kids have a blast playing make belief and I know yours will too.
I reviewed a little boy set, but they also offer items for little girls too.
