I was given products in this post to test and give my honest feedback.  All opinions are my own.

How many of us have been in that dreaded situation when we have a chip in our nail color!  You know what I mean when you try to keep your fingers tucked into you palm so no one else will see this horror!  LOL Okay maybe it isn't a horror, but I do feel super self conscience when I go somewhere and half my color in chipped away.  I am an everyday mom, and by that I mean I don't have a life of luxury.  Though out a normal day I do dishes, clean the bathroom, mop the floor, dust, fold clothing, make meals and take care of my kiddos.... AND MY PUPS.  My hands get quite the work out and I swear some days I paint my nails and half way through the day they look horrid.  Last year I discovered a gel nail polish at Walmart.  I thought well, what the heck I tried everything else lets give it a go...
WHOA  that is all I have to say because this color last.  Now don't get me wrong I have had chips come out of the color, but it happens several days later.  Not that day, not that hour.
When I found out I would be getting the chance to review products with Sally Hansen I was pretty pumped.
Why you may ask?  They have some of the best gel nail polishes out there!
Plus they offer a HUGE selection of color.
I was able to review 3 colors from the Miracle Gel Sally Hansen collection
Here is how it works.  First you find the color that best suits you.  I am like a little whirl wind, so for me that color changes every couple of weeks.  My hubby claims he long ago gave up trying to figure out my personality.  According to him the only word that comes to mind is hyper :)
So for hyper I choose
Red Eye

Game of Chromes (Okay the dork in my choose this one... Fingers crossed John Snow is still
 with us!!)

Bare Dare

That is a red, shimmery gold and pale creme.
So color has been chosen, now it is time to paint.
With the Miracle Gel you want to prep your nails.  Buff then, file them, shape them.  Whatever it is you do, do it before you begin to paint.
You then paint coat number one.  It is very important you let this coat dry.  You don't want to end up with clumps or unevenness.  Coat one helps to set up smoothness for coat two.  I like my nails, but they do have some natural unevenness.
After coat one dries I always put on a second coat.  Not only does it really make the color pop it also helps to add an extra layer to prevent chipping.  And to give nails a smooth finished look
Let this dry too.
Now we have on two coats.  The final touch is the top coat.  This is just a clean protective coat.  It really helps to prevent chips and color fading.
The color and top coat dry super fast.  So don't worry about the drying in between it doesn't take long.
There is over 61 shade so you are sure to find something you love.
I have been wearing my first color for 4 days now with no issues!  If I start to see chips I will have to update this post, but so far I am pretty impressed with the Miracle Gel.
I got salon quality, without the salon price tag!!

Okay so the Miracle Gel has this girl impressed it was time to try out the kit.  Now I didn't want to remove my color so I forced my sister to come over to get her nails painted.  And by force I called my mom to see if she had time and my sister ripped the phone from her and said "My is busy, but I'm free..."  Mffling in the backroom.... Mom gets back on the phone, and claims she is free too.  So I ended up sharing my polish with both of them. I think I should get a best daughter/sissy award!!
So here is what the kit is.  A new salon gel polish, gel manicure starter kit.

You can get up to 10 salon gel manicures at home that each last about 2 weeks.  In the kit you have a led lamp, gel base coat, gel nail color, gel top coat, nail cleanser pads, acetone remover, cuticle stick and of course an how to sheet.
Okay you see the photo above that is the color polish that comes in the kit.  So if you are a red lover like me this is perfect for you.
This was a bit different then the miracle gel.  Step ones was a base coat.
This was just a simple clear coat for the nails.  After you applied this you put your nails under the lamp for 30 seconds.  After this step you applied the gel color.  Again another 30 seconds under the lamp.
You can do one or two coats that is up to you.  Each coat needs 30 seconds under the lamp though.
The last step was the top coat.  Again this one was clear, it just offered a protective coat for your nails.  You also need 30 seconds under the lamp.

We were all impressed with not only the mirror shine, but also how their nails really did have that salon look to them!  They dried evenly and the color really popped.
There are three different color kits, I know red isn't everyone's cup of tea.  So if you want a different color they do offer it in the kits.
I know so of you may cringe at the price tag.  I just want to remind you though that a normal Salon charges $50 for a gel manicure.
For that price you can get 10 at home manicures!!  10 sitting in front of the TV watch Supernatural (I <3 Dean) manicures.  That is 10 don't have to do your hair/makeup sitting in your PJ's on your couch manicures.

I don't know about you, but that is a deal I consider hard to pass up!

The incredible items I reviewed are only 5 of many offered by Sally Hansen.  To see everything the offer please check out my link below:
