W.C. FIELDS COMEDY ESSENTIALS COLLECTION

My dad is a comedian, not for real, but he can tell quite the tale.  At every party we go to he always has a group of people around him laughing.  He can take a story about a trip to a grocery store and make it into some sort of grand adventure.  My cousin Katie and I always laugh about his one story.  You see him and my uncle Cookie (Katie's Dad) got into a "Brawl" at a bar and every time they tell the story more guys get added.  At first it was my dad and uncle against 5 guys, at this point they are facing off against 20 guys and win every time.
That is my dad though he is the funny guy and the life of any party.
It should come as no surprise he loves to watch Comedy on tv.  Every week we have a "Big Bang Theory" and "Goldbergs" night.  When I was little he would have me watch I love Lucy, All in the Family, Red Skelton, the 3 stooges and W.C. Fields with him.
I grew up always laughing thanks to this man.  We haven't watched some of these shows in years!  They don't rerun most of them any more so it is tough to see them.
When I found out I was going to be able to review W.C. Fields Comedy Essentials Collection I couldn't wait!
Saturday afternoon I ordered a pizza, told my dad to make sure he didn't have plans and showed up at his house.  I wish I would have had a camera to capture his face when I showed him his surprise!  You see W.C. Fields has always been one of his favorites and he hasn't seen him in YEARS!  This was so much more than gifting him a DVD collection I was given him a memory.  I was reminding him of a time when he sat down to watch these shows with his dad and then later with me.
Okay I know this is a review about a comedy collection so I will quit being sentimental.
