I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.

Playing is fun and learning can be too with the toy collection from Smart Lab Toys.  Smart Lab toys makes educational toys and books for kiddos age 4-12.  Their hands on toys will not only have kids learning, but also entertained.

For years now they have been providing parents and kids with award winning toys.
This year I was able to review the all new Weird & Wacky Contraption Lab

Standing at over two feet tall, the Weird & Wacky Contraption Lab has 60 mix-and-match pieces to build an unlimited amount of contraptions. Kids can dream up crazy courses, then build and test them using this easy-to-construct Velcro-like system.

Instructions offer tips and tricks on how to best manipulate the kit's components. It guides kids through five sample contraption designs while they learn how to predict the outcome of each. Gravity, momentum, and velocity are observed as kids experiment with gears, levers, and wacky contraptions.

This is the perfect toy to experiment with.  Each time you switch something up you will get a different outcome.  You can see how moving certain pieces not only change the course, but also the speed.
My son is in 2nd grade and gravity is something he is learning right now.  He was pretty impressed to learn the balls move to the bottom because of the gravital pull.
With all the different gears and objects you can redo the course over and over again.  And each time it is a new course since you move things around.
Okay and the fact that one of the objects is a toilet had my son laughing!
LOL HE IS SUCH A BOY!
Here are all the different components so you can see for yourself how much fun can be had:
Components:
Cannon with flying stunt pig
Cleaning machine
Toilet
Chicken coop
Boot buster
2 gears and cup
Funnel
Zigzag ramp
12 tracks
24 track clips
2 off-ramps
6 stops
4 steel balls and ball extractor
Hook-and-loop backer board with stand
Tri-fold instructional booklet

A few other things I liked was how easy it was to assemble.  My oldest was able to do it by himself with little help from me.  After a few times, he needed no help from me.

Kids decided how to play since they can move things and rearrange different parts the course is up to them.  Through trial and error my little man learned some cool promblem solving skills.  He learned this without even realizing it since he was having so much fun.

The flying pig - he was the best part of this toy according to my son.  Making that little pig fly had the entire family laughing.  Of course my son's added sound effects helped too.  You can even adjust the pig to try and hit a different target.

This is only one of the toys offered by Smart Lab Toys.  They have so many great toys that would be a hit this holiday season.
