Birds Eye Steamfresh Disney Style

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  All opinions are my own.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review

"Eat your veggies"
"I can't mom!"
"Why not."
"My friend told me at school that if I eat to many veggies I will turn into a potato."
"Brandon he lied, or you are lying... Either way you are still eating them."
"MOM DON'T YOU LOVE ME!  WHY WOULD YOU WANT ME TO BECOME A GIANT POTATO!!"

I swear to you I have had this conversation and many others when trying to get my boys to eat their veggies.
I can't complain to much though as a kid I was notorious for eating all my good food then having my plate fall to the floor when their were only veggies left!!
For once I can say they got a bad habit from me :)
With that being said I know a few tricks to getting them to eat.  A long time ago I learned that making food fun is the best way to go about getting them to eat something.
With the all new Birds Eye Steamfresh Disney Style pasta I don't even have to do much work!
All I need to do is place them into the microwave and my pasta cooks perfectly in the bag.  Better yet my pasta has veggies mixed in.  The kids are so busy checking out the fun shapes they don't even complain about the green or orange things mixed in!
With flavors such as
Pasta & Peas with Parmesan Cheese Sauce
Pasta & Broccoli with a Cheese Sauce
Whole Grain Pasta & Corn with a Butter Sauce
Pasta with carrots & Tomato Sauce

My boys just can't get enough.

So being their mom I of course had to taste them!!  What sort of mom would I be if I didn't make sure they were yummy?
So I tasted them and I was instantly in awe of the blast of flavor!!
This is the way I would make veggies for myself.  The pasta and other seasonings helped to mask that veggie taste.  I could see why my kiddos didn't mind eating them :)

I don't know about you, but Bird Eye is kind of my hero right now!  THey made getting my kiddos to eating veggies so much easier
