My kids start to drive me crazy starting December first. Hmmm well okay that is a lie I am one of those over the top Christmas people so lets not pretend I don't get swooped up in the holiday joy.
Every morning though they wake me up and ask "Mom can we eat our chocolate yet??" From their Advent calendars of course

Now before you think wow what a jerk let me explain this is asked of me at 5:30 AM when their dad gets up for work. It is a well known fact I'm not human to at least 6:15 and even then it is iffy lol
They do look forward to it though so each morning before school we find the number that they are on and enjoy a small piece of chocolate. And get even more excited that Christmas is one day sooner.
This is great for my kids and I like seeing them smile, but I kind of wish I could get into the fun.
