Did anyone see the new Goosebumps movie yet? I did with my kids and I really liked it. But twice I jumped out of my seat! The 2nd time the people behind me in the theater even laughed a bit! A few months ago my sister came to my house to watch Insidious, my hubby warned me he was sleeping in the guest room and told my sister I was in her hands now. My sister laughed and said "yeah okay whatever you say."
After the movie she tried to leave and I jumped on top of her and demanded she sleep over. That I think they are coming for me.
She agreed one because she "THOUGHT" it would be funny to see what the big deal was.
Half way through the night I was trying to crawl under her yelling that "The creepy girl is next to my side of the bed smiling at me!! BRITTANY HELP HELP! Throw something at her." When she didn't do what I wanted I lunged off my bed at what I thought was the "Creepy" girl and tried to rip her head off. I knocked over the night stand and screamed I will tear that smile off your face (Insert bad word) My blanket just happened to be wrapped around my feet and I thought this was her holding me so I screamed for my sister to grab my hand she was trying to drag me to the other side. All of this was done with me flailing and kicking wildly in what my half asleep self thought was the fight of my life.
When it comes to fight or flight in the end fight always wins out with me.
Needless to say it was the last scary movie we watched together.
And the reason my hubby tried to warn her is because when we started to date he rented the Grudge, for us to watch together and that night I battled screamed in the middle of the night when he was sleeping. I then jumped on top of him and bit him :(. I seen his head on the pillow and thought it was that scary ghost girl! Everyone in my house came running to my room to see what was wrong, my dad even in his boxers. We all had a good laugh after we realized my hubby (Boyfriend at the time) didn't need stitches.
Now dear readers I know a few of you are thinking dear god why is this crazy woman reviewing a HorrorPack movie Subscription!
I can't help myself! I know these movies scary me, but I love them! I didn't mind being scared out of my wits! I don't mind having to battle phantom objects that always turn out to be something else! I think it is thrilling to be on edge like that once in awhile.
For those of you who don't know my sister she always gives in. So when I begged her to have a scary movie marathon with me she gave in.
My HorroPack had 4 movies:
The Barber
The Exorcism Of Emily Rose
Pro-Wrestler Vs Zombies
The Orphanage
After the first two my sister checked to make sure I was okay. I said yes (The poor girl doesn't realize the trouble only starts after I fall asleep and wake up in the middle of the night)
We finished all 4 movies and I was fine! Perfect, to be honest. That night my sister slept over again and my hubby again went into the extra room. My sister and I are close so it is no big deal to share a king size bed.
3:40am rolls around.
"Brittany.... PSTT Brittany."
"What Savannah?"
"On Supernatural the devil told Sam and Dean he isn't hot he runs cold."
"Your point?"
"My room is pretty cold right now... Do you think that....?"
"Shut up and go to bed..."

I was about to be possessed and she didn't care. A few minutes later I felt a tug on the blanket, turns out it was just her moving. To 4am me this was the sign that Satan was about to make his move! I jumped up and screamed into my dark room "Not without a fight you wont take me!" Swinging my pillow like some sort of battle ready warrior about to take on Lucifer!
My sister frustrated screamed at me to "SHUT UP!"
I yelled at her "Go to the kitchen and get salt!"
Needless to say it was another fun night for us :) I had a blast....
