ROTOR DR1

The film is a post-apocalyptic adventure across America as two teenagers follow a mysterious drone that will lead them to answers on what caused a mysterious virus that wiped out most of the world. While maintaining a PG-13 tone, the film is perfect for family-friendly crowds as well as drone/tech enthusiasts and sci-fi and horror genre fans that want to discover a new gem to add to their collection.

About the Film:
After a viral epidemic eliminates 90% of the world’s population, the survivors struggle to rebuild and reconnect with the world they’ve lost. Autonomous drones, originally meant to deliver vaccinations for the deadly disease, now fly aimlessly through the sky and are hunted for their parts and power sources.

But when a 16-year-old boy named Kitch stumbles upon a peculiar drone named DR1, clues about his long-lost father begin to surface. As Kitch defends his new drone from a local crime syndicate, he befriends one of its members, a young woman named Maya. With Maya’s encouragement and DR1 leading the way, the three travelers set out on a journey to find Kitch’s father. Potential enemies lurk around every corner and Kitch, Maya and DR1 must work together to navigate the unknown and find the answers they seek.

So I don't want to name drop to much here but I love Star Wars.  I could rewatch them over and over again and never get bored.  I am also a fan of Terminator and finally I am a fan of the tv The 100 .
This film kind of felt like all three of them in one!  I loved the scifi feel and the fact I could watch it with my boys :).
If you are a fan of any of the movies or shows I just mentioned you so want to check this one out :)
