Tame that Mane

Disclaimer: I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid to write this review all opinions are my own.

I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.  I so chant that as I attempt to do my hair.  My hair is thick, wavy and very difficult... and that is on a good day.  Throw in the elements and I look like I stuck my finger in an electrical outlet.  Over the years though my hair and I have found a happy middle ground.  If I use quality products and take really good care of it, it behaves.
When washing I always read what I put into my hair.  For some reason products with silicone really weigh my hair down.  I try not to put conditioner right on my roots, or else my hair gets a greasy look.  And I make sure to always let my hair dry at least 1/3 of the way on its own.  I love my blow dryer, but the last thing I want is dead hair.

Even with all that though my hair still needs some extra help.  So I buy top quality products.  And thanks to Scunci and Conair I don't need to break the bank when doing so.

Here are a few of my latest favorite items:

Conair Bun Maker

·         Bun Maker is soft, lightweight and comfortable, with all-day hold
·         Gather your hair into a ponytail, slide the donut-shaped form to the base, spread your hair around it and pin
·         Provides a fresh take on the traditional bun.
I have so wanted one of these since they first came out.  I was almost scared to use it I thought for sure I would be let down.  I LOVE it!!  My hair is thick so when I put it into any type of style is slowly weighs itself down and comes undone.  Thanks to this bun maker it stays put!!  It almost reminds me of a brillo pad with a hole in the center :)

The Effortless Beauty must have hair scrunchies!  I mean really no beauty drawer is complete without these.  For days when I just want to wear a cute side brand and a ponytail.

Perfect for everyday use this brush gets out that tangles without pull out your hair!

Snap Clips

Your hair isn't going anywhere with these snap clips! Perfect for taming stray strands & stylish enough to accent updos and everyday hairstyles.
Secures hair in a snap

Doing your hair shouldn't be a pain!  You should be able to do your hair and enjoy making new styles.  The key is to find quality products that aren't going to get stuck in your hair, fall out after a small amount of time and/or tear out your hair when you remove them.

Conair and Scunci provides products that enhance our hair, not ruin it :)

The products I mentioned are only a few of so many and you can find them at almost any store!!  Heck I even grab Scunci hair scrunchies when I grocery shop :)
