As many of you know Game Night in my house is a weekly occurrence! I don't want to brag, but I am so the ultimate board gamer!
Each week we pick a game and sit down as a family to play together. My favorite weeks are when we get a brand new game and my hubby and I get to teach the boys how to play.
This week we had 2 new games!! I am sure you can imagine how much fun it was to watch them play an old favorite of mine for the first time.
Now Quinn and I did play on a team. I do all the thinking and he does all the hard work :).
The games were:
Players randomly slot ten cards on their rack. The race then begins to draw and discard until one player positions ten cards in numerical sequence. Sound simple? It is but you will need skillful play, concentration and just a little luck to win.
This was the perfect family game and here is why.
Quinn is learning number recognition. So every time we would get a card he would scramble up to my ear and whisper to me which number we got. I would then arrange our cards.
Brandon on the other hand benefited because he got to use his promblem solving skills to try and figure out where to put the cards and which ones to get rid of.
And of course my hubby and I had fun trying to beat each other :)

Innovative design allows you to pack up in the middle of the game without disturbing the words you have already placed on the board. The tiles snap in place!
Again another perfect family game. My hubby and are who are competitive were trying to beat each other in points. Brandon got to practice his spelling and to be honest his promblem solving since he tried to lay out his pieces to get the most points. And little Quinn again was just excited to tell me which letters we got and to lay them out for me.
