A long time ago I had it in my mind that Yoga was just gentle stretches. That it was basically me laying on a mat and relaxing....
After my first hour class I realized just how wrong I was and also how out of shape my body was! I stretched things I didn't know I could stretch, I put my body in positions I didn't think were possible and at the end of it I felt great!
My biggest issue though was having to keep moving my mat back into place. After the 3rd time it was getting annoying and I realized that I had to upgrade. So I found a pretty awesome one and have used it now for almost 3 years. Then in December I got a puppy and he liked me mat too.... Just not in the same way I did he thought it would be fun to chew apart :(
The worst part is that mat is no longer for sale and I was stuck yet again using one of those slipping never stay in place mats.
Not only do they stay in place and help keep my feet and hands in place, but they also look pretty awesome as well!
They are 72 inches long and 24 inches wide giving you lots of room to stretch out.
The mat is light weight meaning it doesn't feel like a pain to lug it around between classes. Also it is easy to clean up, a simple spray of my cleaner and wipe of my towel is all I need.
And they are a mat you can feel good about using because they are Patented PER (Polymer Environmental Resin) Mats; No Phthalates, Phenols, PAHS, Latex, Silicone and Rubber
And I adore the print. Sometimes when I am in a certain pose I just want to give up and some times I even do. With this print below me I just look down, take a deep breath and let the print calm me. I know that may sound silly, but it works.
