I am not you don't know this about me, but I play for a Make A Wish girls softball team. Every year we raise as much money possible for our kiddo and help make their wish come true. For me it is an honor. On opening day of our season I get to officially meet our kiddo and I just love getting to know them. Their story and seeing the little faces when they realize their dream is going to come true.
Most of our fundraisers I love!! Candle sales, Joe Corbi's pizza sales, raffles, ect.
There is one I am not very fond of. That is our Fishin' for Wishes rodeo.
If you know me I am a full on girly girl. I like getting my hair done, I wear dresses almost all the time, my nails are always painted and my ideal of a good time is a long bubble bath and a good book.
Not being outdoors with the bugs, heat and fish. But it is for a good cause so I put on my big girl pants, suck it up and fish my little heart out that day. This year the rodeo just happens to fall on Mother's Day!!! My day of pampering?!??!

It is super long, the middle of my back long. And THICK! So thick that some days it can take me 40 minutes to blow dry. Add to that the humidity from fishing, and whatever dirt my boys decided to get into it and I have a hot mess going on.
