My kids room on a good day is still a mess. We have a super small house so even leaving out one toy makes the room look cluttered.
I have discovered that having a bin for everything and keeping it all organized goes a far way in keeping the room looking good.
The thing is some times those bins just look drab. And they aren't always that functional. We have one with hinges that snaps close and nearly take a finger off each time.
So not kid friendly. That is why I love companies like Delta Children!

Here is what I loved right away. I didn't need many tools to put it together!
It came with a handy Allen wrench and I used my screw driver. That is all that is needed. Most of the toy box I was able to put together myself. There is these really nice soft closing hinges that prevents the toy box from slamming shut on little fingers. I did need my hubby to hold it at just the right angle while I put the screws into place.
I also like the fact there is a space in the front to put books or other small items. My boys always loose the remote for their room, so we have been placing that in the front area as well.
It does have some nice weight to it, so I don't need to worry about my boys tipping it over.
The opening is really big so it makes clean up super easy on my kids.

The wood feels and looks very durable so I can see it lasting us a very long time. And speaking of the wood it does come in several colors. I like that even though this is a toy box, I would feel comfortable putting it in any room in my house. It truly does have a versatile look. I debated using it as a small coffee table for my sitting room, but my boys told me no they wanted it!
