Every Easter I get my boys a basket full of candy and cringe as they munch away on it. Countless hours at the dentist makes me more aware of just how much sugar they come in contact with. Plus if we are going to be 100% honest I hate that "Easter" has become about candy and gifts in my house. Easter should be a day of celebration, a day that we remind ourselves of the gift Christ freely gave us.
I don't see my hubby and kiddos going for a gift-less Easter (Or Christmas for that matter) anytime soon though. So this year when I fill my boys baskets I want to make sure to give them gifts that count. Ones that helps them to understand the true meaning of Easter. Ones that remind them that no bunny's gift can ever compare to the one Jesus gave them.
Thanks to Zondervan books I can do just that, I can give them a gift that reminds them of Jesus's love and reminds them of the real reason we celebrate this time of the year
