My hubby and I have very different wrapping techniques when it comes to gifts. I am the person who makes sure the corners are folded just right. I place a beautiful bow on top and I curl the ends of said bow. I like to use little bags and name tags.
My hubby attacks gifts with wrapping paper and tape and when he doesn't have enough gift wrapping tape he goes shipping tape. His idea of a bow is all the extra wrapping paper he didn't bother to cut off....
Yes when we do secret Santa at my families house I can see people looking at his gift and secretly hoping that it isn't theirs lol
So why do I take so much time? Because to me it is one more way to show my loved ones I care. My nanny always opens my gifts real so so she can keep the paper. My aunt loves horses so I always get her wrapping paper with horses. Yes it may seem like something small, but at the same time it is also saying I cared.
