My oldest son is at the age where toys are no longer cool, but he isn't really ready for grown up stuff. 11 is a tough age! I have been desperately trying to find Christmas for this in-between age. And I think the all new GOTRAX ION Hoverboard!

Okay we all watched back to the future and wanted one of these for ourselves. I have to say I'm really impressed! I did fall off the first time, but after a few more attempts I was able to stay on (yes I know i'm 31 but I had to try it!) My boys were much better, and were easily able to get around. The controls take some getting use to. We kept leaning to far forward or to far back, but just like riding a bike once you get it goes smooth! It goes with how you shift your body weight.
So far I am really impressed with the battery light and the fact that the ION can easily go up hills without stopping. It does have some weight to it, but I think that helps with balance so we were okay with it.
