A few weeks ago the covid19 virus began its rein of terror. I have only left my house 2 times to go shopping. My boys have not left our house (yard included) since then. Like most kids they are scared and don't understand what is going on. I have been trying to make it a little less scary for them.
For years now we have had a Friday night movie night. We now have movie night 2.0. There is pillow forts, an entire snack table instead of just popcorn and everyone must wear pjs. Even my hubby who only owns one pair!
This past Friday we crawled into our pillow fort and watched Dolittle.
The giggles never stopped! My kiddos laughed so hard and several times impersonated the gorilla in the movie. Both boys are now convinced that if they spend this stay at home time trying to talk to our animals they to can be like Dr. Dolittle. I love that the movie was enjoyable for everyone. It had comedy for my hubby, silliness for my boys and a grand adventure for me. If you too are starting to go a little stir crazy have a movie night. Bust out those pillows and blankets.
