Heartwarming Tale CHARLIE'S CHRISTMAS WISH

Disclaimer I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid to write this review.

Several years ago my hubby found out it wasn't  my kids that insisted on watching A Flintstones Christmas Carol every year....  It was me!  And a Christmas Story, Home Alone, It's a Wonderful Life and so many more!  Holiday movies add to all the Christmas magic and cheer.  Admit it, what would Christmas be without seeing poor Ralphie in that pink bunny outfit?
We have a family tradition that on Christmas Eve the boys get their one gift from the hubby and I.  It is always a new pair of PJs for them and we watch a Christmas movie.  Not only do they get excited to receive an early gift.  But laying down to watch a movie helps them to calm down and get sleepy for when Santa comes.  Plus the Christmas Eve Christmas movie is a pretty big deal in the Miller household.  The weeks leading up to Christmas we watch a combination of old and new movies to decided which movie will earn the honor of being the Christmas Eve movie that year.  Its serious business according to my boys.

This year we started off our Christmas movie watching with a super cute new movie.  Charlie's Christmas Wish.
Just in time for the holidays comes a feel-good family film with a loveable dog, Charlie’s Christmas Wish, unwrapping on DVD, Digital, and On Demand November 10 from Lionsgate. Awarded the Dove Seal of Approval for All Ages, Aiden Turner, Lindsey McKeon, Jay M. Brooks and Diane Ladd star in this heartwarming tale.

 SYNOPSIS
In this heartwarming holiday film starring Aiden Turner (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”), a troubled war vet’s family finds new hope from a scrappy little rescue dog. Discharged and sent home for the holidays, John (Turner) tries hard to adapt to civilian life—and to son Jimmy’s new pet, a feisty terrier named Charlie. As the family meets other struggling local veterans, they know it’ll take a miracle to bring peace to them and to John. Good thing Charlie has a direct line to the Man Upstairs.

My review:
Charlie's Christmas Wish is a truly heart warming tale, that really makes us think about those around us.  Little Charlie is a great reminder to all of us that even the smallest of us can have a great impact on those around us.  It also got my kiddos asking some pretty big questions about what happens to veterans when they come home.  Overall we really enjoyed this movie! I wont fib and say it is going to be our Christmas Eve movie, but it is def. a movie I will watching each season
