Rummikub® Six Player Edition

I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid to write this review

I have a HUGE finished basement.  My hubby calls it his man cave, but don't let the name fool you.  It is totally the family and friends hang out area.  We have a projector and huge screen set up and have friends over for movie nights.  The play room is off to one section, we have a "mini" bar that serves fresh popped popcorn and candy.  But my favorite thing about our "man cave" is the game area.  We have tables, lots of chairs and 13 years worth of games to choose from.  Here is the thing about games though, the more the better!  We are always looking for fun new games to play.  And we have a lot of age groups playing so it is even better when everyone can play.  The newest game we added to our collection is

Rummikub

Now at my game nights we have close to 20 people come over, so we always end up breaking down into smaller groups.  But I do love that this edition of Rummikub is 6  players!  You always have that one group that doesn't like to be broken up!
It's easy to learn, but packed with strategy
Players take turns placing numbered tiles in runs and groups rummy style
Includes more racks and numbers to accommodate the extra players For 2-6 players, ages 8 and up
The game is super easy to play.  The only complaint we had when playing was the red and orange numbers look the same from a distance.  We solved this by putting a dot underneath all the red numbers.  That way if you saw the dot you knew it was red.  Other than that everyone loved the game.  And the more you play the better you get.  I'm not going to fib my first round I had 0 strategy, by my 4th game I was getting pretty good at strategizing.
