So, I'm not sure how many of you know this about me, but since the virus hit, I went back to being a stay-at-home mom.  At the time my boys were virtual school, it was the best choice for us.  And then they went back. It was supposed to be temporary for me to be home, but my hubby and I realized life just flowed so much better with me being home.  No longer are we putting together quick meals and trying to clean the house in our free time.  Homework with the boys isn't something I squeeze in, and we don't argue over who has to do the grocery shopping.  Life is just easier we realized, but I'll let you in on a little secret....  I'm done all my housework (besides dinner and homework with my boys) by 1:30ish each day and don't have to leave for my boys until 2:30 to get them at school.  Yes, I have an entire hour and the house just to me.  Lately I been spending that hour on Pure Flix.  I've been splitting my days between The Chosen and a newer show Sons of Thunder: Redemption

What is Sons of Thunder: Redemption you may be wondering?

NEW EPISODES EVERY THURSDAY - After being released from prison, a former biker gang member tracks down his ex-fiancé at a ranch on the brink of foreclosure to reconcile, but the biker gang that he betrayed isn’t far behind him.

The episodes air weekly and I just finished episode 4 (and yes it so left me in a cliff hanger, I can't wait to see what happens next!!)  Spoiler alert don't read if you haven't seen it yet.

What happened this week:

Mike was thrown from his horse and gets injured. An inspector arrives to permit the rodeo. Jacob pursues Sandy and Logan pursues Addison for a date. Friendly competition between Logan and Jacob. The history between Mike and Ethan is revealed.

Jacob finally convinces Sandy to go on a date with him!  Well kind of, she does tell him it isn't a date... But it SOOO is!!

An inspector comes and seems to be putting a halt on the rodeo.  Which Mike blames on a feud he has going on with Ethan.  Jacob has a heart to heart with Mike about forgiveness and uses scripture to help him see the truth.

“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need. – Ephesians 4:26-28

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. – Matthew 5:44-45

And it seems the Devil's Hand is about to make their move.  With the help of Logan, though we can see Logan struggles with his role.

I love that there is so many lessons going on in this show.  Forgiveness, admitting to our mistakes, breaking bad habits and trying to do our best in a broken world.  Honestly this show doesn't sugar coat it for us.  It is real and I can tell things are about to get a whole lot messier for Jacob.
