My youngest son is 12, he is at that age where he isn't a little kid anymore, but also not a teenager. He is getting out of the toy phase, but not 100%. He likes more collectable things now. And I'm not going to fib he still busts out the action figures every once in awhile. But honestly he wants things that he terms as "cool." A stuffed bear to him isn't cool. A stuffed Cartman from South Park is cool.
Sadly I'm on the not cool list lol.
He is tough to shop for, luckily, he likes sports so I'm able to get him a lot of equipment he needs for upcoming seasons. And I also buy stuff to practice at home. But you can only buy someone so many gloves/bats/balls/soccer nets. When I discovered Kidrobot I was so excited! They are like the perfect go to shopping place for people who have kiddos that fall in-between that teen and kid phase. Well okay I'll be honest, there was several things on the site I wanted as well.
