Chalk Preschool review

Disclaimer: This is a sponsored campaign with Mums the Word Network and Chalk Preschool . All opinions are my own.

Chalk Preschool review

Chalk Preschool is an online preschool.  Its a free online preschool filled with activities to keep your child busy and learning.  The classes are engaging and teach young ones lots of new and exciting things. As a mom, I enjoyed and loved that the lessons and videos were designed for my child’s age. Quinn is only 3 so he needs something that isn't too hard, but at the same time isn't so easy he loses interest.  Chalk Preschool was perfect.  It was always changing things up.
Using the site was super easy and my little guy and I were on within minutes.  It has gotten to the point where my Quinn points to the computer and asks if he can go to school :)

FYI the glasses are Quinn's big boy glasses!  When ever he thinks he is doing something "adult" he puts them on lol
OH and did I mention it is beyond easy to sign up!

This is a fun way to give your little one a head start with free online preschool activities!

The Sparkle Egg review and giveaway

About the book:

The Sparkle Egg
Easter is coming, and Sam loves Easter! But this year, he is upset about a lie he told his parents. Even though he apologized and they
forgave him, Sam can’t shake the feeling that he is a bad kid for what he did. Meanwhile, his parents help him make a special Easter craft
called a Sparkle Egg. His mom tells him to write anything he feels sorry about or ashamed of on a piece of paper and put it inside his
Sparkle Egg.

On Easter morning, when he opens his Sparkle Egg expecting a surprise, Sam finds that it is empty! His parents explain that because
Jesus died and rose again, we are forgiven. Like the tomb that first Easter Day, Sam's egg is empty—and Sam’s wrong doing is
completely forgiven. Once he accepts this forgiveness fully, Sam realizes a truth: we can sparkle and shine with God’s light when we
let God’s gift of grace into our hearts. This touching story will strike a deep chord with readers of all ages, and the Sparkle Egg tradition will help readers and their
families grasp the totality of God’s perfect grace.

Written by Jill Hardie
Illustrated by Christine Kornacki

My review:
My kids LOVE it!  This year we are going to start a Sparkle egg tradition in my home.  The message delivered was heartfelt and I was proud to give my kiddos this book.  The story is well written and the illustrations are absolutely beautiful!  Each year I think the true meaning of the holidays gets lost behind gifts.  The Sparkle Egg I really do think helped my 3 and 6 year old get a better concept on why we really celebrate Easter.  Well maybe not my 3 year old, but Brandon Jr asked a lot of questions and really seemed to enjoy it.

My Tot Clock Review and giveaway

FTC Disclosure: I received a My Tot Clock for purposes of an honest review. This is my honest review and my opinions were not influenced.

My Tot Clock Review and giveaway

My tot clock is the one clock that does it all!
My Tot Clock is the first all-in-one sleep clock, alarm clock, nightlight, timeout timer, and activity timer for tiny tots who can’t yet tell time.
The magic of My Tot Clock is that it changes color to help teach little ones about time and schedules.
Blue = Bed Time
Yellow = Wake up time
Light Blue = Nap Time or can be used for quite time
green = Encouragement (potty training, homework)
Red = Discipline (Time out)
The best part is parents set the routine!  I can change the color and time limit to whatever I want.  I can also adjust it to our routine.  Meaning just because my "wake up" time is 6:30am doesn't mean  yours will be too.  You adjust it for you.
My Tot Clock not only has a big easy to read face it also plays bedtime stories, lullabies, fun wake-up music, and even white noise to make the bedtime and morning routines more enjoyable.

My little guys think the lights are fun and it has become a fun game to see what color the clock is so they know what to do.
No more negotiating before bedtime!
Oh and you can change the face plate to make it more personal for your little one :).
Another huge plus is this can double as a night light.  My 6 year old has been having issues with the darkness so this was perfect for him.
The buttons on the back are super easy to use my 6 year old even figured them out!

Open Road Snacks review and giveaway

I'm sure any parent knows traveling with hungry kids can get messy.  I had all sorts of god knows what smeared on my back seat, crumbs big enough to clog a vacuum cleaner and small  pieces of food that gets lost between the seats and only discovered when it starts to stink.
Needless to say this mama needs a new car friendly snack and I found just that with Open Road Snacks Poplets.
I also want to state these snacks can be enjoyed at home too :).  Just the name of the company automatically made me think of car friendly snacks.
Poplets are a new corn nut!  The 7X's softer CRUNCH gives you a whole new application of corn snacks. POPLETS are satisfying corn kernel with far less fat and more fiber so you can crunch away guilt-FREE. Don't let their small size fool you though, these little nuggets are full of flavor!
They are also all-natural and gluten-free.
I love the small bag size.  I'm easily able to put these in my purse and have a tasty and easy snack for on the go.
And they come in 3 yummy flavors:
Sea Salt and butter
Chile Picante
Asiago Ranch

My entire family LOVES them!  I'm personally addicted to the Asiago Ranch :).  The kids seem to like the Sea Salt and Butter best.  And my little sister likes the Chile Picante

If you wish to learn more about these tasty snacks see my link below:

TRANSFORMERS RESCUE BOTS: Heroes on the Scene Review

TRANSFORMERS RESCUE BOTS: Heroes on the Scene, produced by Hasbro Studios, will be released on DVD March 18th, 2014  by Shout! Factory Kids.
This Dvd will feature five episodes that the whole family is sure to love!
In this collection, the Rescue Bots go undercover to protect the quiet little town of Griffin Rock from the green ooze known as the Squilsh, recover treasure stolen by pirates and help Griffin Rock recover from an earthquake! Along with their human friends, the Burns family, the RESCUE BOTS help keep people safe, and along the way they learn what it really means to be a hero!
Episodes Include:
The Lost Bell
You’ve Been Squilshed
Little White Lies
Shake Up
Rescue Boy
Release date: March 18, 2014

My review:
The show is family friendly and my kids love all the action and have so much fun with the problem solving the Transformers must do. These are not the same Transformers from my hubby's movie, but rather kid-friendly ones.  The Transformers are Police Cars, Fire trucks and everything else that kids LOVE.
My boys had me at the store buying the Transformer action figures so they could play along to the TV show.  I love the lessons they learn in each episode and the fact that even after the show is over they play with their action figures for hours.

Our favorite Veggies are at it again in the all new movie Veggies in Space.  Since 1993 VeggieTales have been teaching kids that God not only made them special, but he loves them very much.  Through fun sweet stories VeggieTales teaches kiddos about God's love.
I remember as a little girl I loved VeggieTales so it means a lot to me to be able to share them with my kids.
