The Virginian review

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.

The Virginian review

Synopsis:
The Virginian Grammy Award winning country music artist Trace Adkins (The Lincoln Lawyer) and Golden Globe winner Ron Perlman (“Sons of Anarchy,” Pacific Rim) star in the all-new gun-slinging western The Virginian.

The Virginian will be locked and loaded on Blu-ray and DVD exclusively at Walmart and Sam’s Club, as well as digitally everywhere,January 7 from Cinedigm and Nasser Entertainment.

Based on the long-running classic television series “The Virginian,” this all-new adaptation is directed by Thomas Makowski (WWJD: What Would Jesus Do?) and also features Brendan Penny (“Supernatural”). A riveting and action-packed western, The Virginian tells the story of a handsome and enigmatic enforcer (Adkins) for a cattle baron (Ron Perlman) in Wyoming, who took him in after his parents were killed. Set against the backdrop of the Old West, the story of the Virginian’s past unfolds amidst a wealth of corruption, deception and gunplay, and the drama lays bare an unwritten law of the times: justice is a loaded gun.

My review:
I'm sure at this point you are starting to realize I love watching Westerns!  My hubby hates when I bust out my Lonesome Dove dvds and have an all weekend marathon.  Growing up though Westerns is all my grandfather watched.  So through him I developed a love for cowboy movies :)!
I remember as a little girl I would watch reruns (I was only born in 87) of The Virginian with my pappy.  (At 4 I was in love with James Drury lol).  When I seen they were making a remake I couldn't wait to see it!!  Then I found out Ron Perlman (HellBoy) would be in it and I was beyond excited :)!
Okay so I know you are all wondering what I thought....  I LOVE it!  It def. did the old series justice the rolls were well played/casted and it had all the great characteristic of a great cowboy movie :)

Nestle Seasonal Holiday Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.

Nestle Seasonal Holiday Review

One thing you can count on is Nestle candy making its way into my home every holiday season.  Nestle is great not only for eating as is, but also for recipes!  More on that later :)

I wanted to let everyone know that his year Nestle is making gift giving so much easier with all their new choices.
From new Wonka Pixy Stix Powder-Filled candy canes, Wonka SweeTarts and spree tube filled candy canes and so much more!!  All of these are under $10.  Making them not only the perfect stocking stuffer, but also the perfect price!

I personally was able to review

Wonka Everlasting Gobstopper candy canes.  They change color and flavor as you eat them!  There is 12 in the package I put them in my little guys empty stockings.  Starting tomorrow I'm going to let them take 1 out every day and eat it.  Until Christmas, making them avent candy canes :)

Next I was able to review a tin filled with sweeTarts!  I was excited about this because I love using SweeTarts on my holiday candy!  I know you are wondering what I'm taking about so its better just to show you.

I use to buy sprinkles, but they thing is those little containers of sprinkles cost a lot!  Plus my kinda like SweeTarts so much more.  All I do is crush them up and sprinkle them on top of my holiday candy when the chocolate is still warm :)

From the photo you can see I used it on my chocolate covered oreos.  And yes these are the cookies we give Santa!

They also work on chocolate covered pretzels, lolly pops and anything else you can think of.

These are only a few of the ways you can use Nestle Candy.  With so many options they possibilities are endless.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Heartfelt Letters From Santa review

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.
BEGIN A NEW CHRISTMAS
TRADITION THIS HOLIDAY SEASON with

Heartfelt Letters From Santa!

My boys leave milk and cookies every year for Santa Claus and a carrot outside for his reindeer.  They also write him a letter to thank him for visiting them on Christmas.

Wouldn't it be super cute if Santa were to magically write back!  To leave them a magical message that would stay with them forever!?!?!

 Well now he can :)

Veronica Steck the amazing mother of 3 is spreading the Christmas magic with “Heartfelt Letters from

Santa” new this 2013 holiday season. The two-book boxed gift set captures the magic of the

holiday and helps parents and relatives write letters to the kids from Santa himself!
This is a 2 book set the first book is a parents guide on how to write a letter from Santa and gives great pointers to help you write that letter.  The 2nd book is a keepsake to keep all your letters.  So that years from now our little ones will still have them and may even be able to share them with their kids!

Starting this year when my kids put out their cookies and milk I'm going to have them put the book out too so "Santa" can write them a special letter.

I can't wait to see my little guys face when they hear what Santa wrote to them.  I know this is going to become a cherished tradition in my home!
The first photo is the Parent's Guide.
Gives lots of helpful advice :)
Then of course the book for letters :).  Each page has a cute header and then a blank page to write your little ones special letters :)

Please note my photos are of a Advanced readers copy.  The final product may look different.

Windex Touch-Up Cleaner review

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.

Windex Touch-Up Cleaner review

Since becoming a mom I learned what being busy truly means.  I also learned how to multitask.  Yes I can make a phone call, wash the dish and make sure my little guys eats lunch without my dogs stealing it.  Feel free to call me super mom ;)
The truth is some days I feel overwhelmed.  My hubby doesn't understand why I get mad when he doesn't put a dirty dish in the sink or when he leaves his socks lay around, but he doesn't realize I spend all day cleaning up after everyone and that one sock or dish is on the list of a non-stop day of cleaning.

As a mom I'm always looking for a items to make my life easier and I found one that does just that!  Windex Touch-Up clean is for those quick clean moments.

The Windex Touch-up clean system offers a fast, convenient, at-hand solution to clean both the kitchen and bathroom.  You simply take a towel, paper towel or tissue, touch the top and wipe!  So easy and quick.

It wont take up much space which is a huge plus in my little home, it comes in a small, attractive bottle that conveniently stays out where you need it so you can clean and sanitize frequent messes right away.

Kills 99.9% of common household bacteria1, and works on a variety of hard, non-porous surfaces including sinks, countertops, toilets, appliances (exterior), stovetops, sealed granite, sealed marble, glass, glazed porcelain, chrome, glazed ceramic tile, finished wood and more.
It comes in both fresh scent and Glistening Citrus.

I love mine!  I keep one in the bathroom for when my boys miss the sink with their tooth paste.... And also when they miss the potty.  Its super convenient and makes my day a little bit easier :).  Its super easy to use and it really does make me feel like super mom.  I still get mad when my hubby lets his socks lay around though lol

And right now you can print a $1 off coupon!

Hurry though I don't know how long that will last!

DormCo College Club Dorm Chair review

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.

DormCo College Club Dorm Chair review

I know I'm not the only one who thinks this...  College kids are tough to get gifts for!  Some days when I see photos of my sisters dorm I think the best thing to get her would be a cleaning service!
In all honesty though I have no clue what to get her.  That is why I love DormCo.   Dormco is a one stop shop for all your Dorm needs!  They are really affordable, have a huge selection and their shipping is really cheap!
DormCo is the leading retailer for college dorm essentials! AKA "The College Dorm Supplies Superstore."   Their site is completely aimed for dorm rooms making it easy for you to find all the things you need in 1 shop and with the 2.95 shipping cost you can't go wrong!
DormCo also offers a great variety of items coming in all sorts of designs and sizes.  Though their items are cheap they are still top quality.
I personally was able to review the College Club Dorm Chair!  Its super stylish and comfy it comes in extra large and has increased plush cushioning for your comfort needs.  Another huge benefit is that it folds away.  Dorm rooms don't have a lot of space and this is super convenient to be able to fold it away and put it under a bed or in the corner when its not in use.  They come in several colors and are sure to be a great gift for any college student!

Since this is a gift for my sister I had my oldest son help me test it.  According to him it is the ultimate gaming chair and Brittany doesn't need it...  Because he is going to keep it lol!!

So in other words its awesome lol
If you are also looking for the perfect gift for a college aged person this is a great choices or if you are looking for a cool gamer chair as my son calls its maybe this would also be the perfect gift!!

This is only 1 of the great items offered at DormCo!  I hope you will take the time and look at all the great items they offer.  If you are shopping for a college student you def. want to check out their deals :)

Burgers Smokehouse review

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.

Burgers Smokehouse review

Holidays can get hectic!  Lots of shopping, baking, cooking and running around.  By Dec. 25 I'm ready for a mini vacation.
I'm one of those people that if I can make things easier on myself I do.  Well I'm sure we are all like that.  Having said that I'm sure quite a few of you are going to appreciate my review today.
Burgers Smokehouse delivers food right to your door!  Making it a lot easier then dragging 2 little kids out trying to go shopping.  I love that I can search their website and read in detail about each item and make wise decisions.  Not just grabbing off a shelf so I can hurry and get two screaming kiddos out of the store lol

Oh and not only is the site great to buy stuff for yourself, but they also have the greatest gift items!!  I know quite a few women in my life who would love for me to give them a gift basket with part of their holiday meal :)

I personally was able to review the Spiral Sliced City Ham.

1 Thing you should know about my family is we are ham eaters.  We eat it at Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving!  I was really excited when I seen I would be able to review ham.  I knew it be perfect for a big Sunday family dinner.  Spiral Sliced City Ham is Burgers Smokehouse signature item.

I can see why!  I was so amazed at how sweat and juicy it was.  It came with its own glaze.  And for those of you who are unsure how to cook ham its super easy and Burgers makes it easier by having a how to guide.  Oh and not only is the guide shipped to you its also on their site in-case you lose it :)
Everyone in my family loved it and my hubby even has some left over for lunch this week.

Zike Z100 review

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.

Zike Z100 review

My Holiday gift guide is soon coming to an end, but don't be sad because I still have some amazing items to talk about!  I knew from the start of my gift guide that I would be reviewing the Zike Z100 and I was beyond excited and couldn't wait to tell you all about it!

For those of you who never heard of Zike before be prepared to be amazed!

The Zike Z100 has been described as flying at ground level and I can safely say I agree with the description.  The Zike Z100 combines fun with working out to give you the ultimate experience! Before I start my review I wanted to cover some of the features.
 Patented smooth drive system
 Rugged steel frame
Aluminum alloy wheels
Matching color wheels with air-filled tires
Comfortable rubber grip handles
Textured grips and reflectors on pedals
Easily folds
Supports up to 150 lbs.

My review:

Well I guess I should start off by telling you we LOVE it!  This gift is for Brandon Jr so you will see my sister using it in the photos.  She is like a big kid :).

First off we were impressed with how easy assemble was.  I wanted to do it during the day when Binky was at school so that meant no help from hubby.  My sister and I were a bit nervous, but after seeing it was partially put together we knew that we would be fine.  We had to attach the handle bar part and the peddles.  As we were putting it together we realized we would have to drive to my dads to get the tires blown up.  So this was the 2nd test weight, it was light enough for me to pick up and put in the back of my car.   I don't think Brandon Jr will be able to pick up like this, but I was able to.  I also love that it fold ups making it easy for me to transport and fit into my car.
Okay I'm sure you can see how awesome it looks!  By the way this is only 1 of the colors it comes in :).  And Zike also has other WingFlyers just like the Z100!  The other ones can hold more weight so they would be idea for a bigger or older person.

Next was the test ride.  My sister was beyond amazed!  She said it was like riding a bike and scooter at the same time.  And then she claimed it felt like a stair climber with actual wheels.

I made her drive by me a few times so I could get some photos.  She couldn't believe how nicely it turned and how easy it was to handle.

I asked her how she thought Brandon Jr would handle it, she told me once he got use to marching and not peddling he would handle it great!  She claimed it took a moment or two to get use to the new motion.

I also asked how easily the handle break was to use and she demonstrated by slamming on the breaks and yelling works GREAT lol.

After about 15 minutes I told her it was time to hide it before Binky got home from school.  This was ignored as she flew by me yet again.

She claimed "Wow I should get one of these I can't believe what a great work out it is."
Again I told her time to put it away.
"Seriously I could ride this all day..."
I informed her no she couldn't it was time to put it away.
Which was ignored.

After a few more laps she finally agreed to get off and she helped me hide it in my spare bedroom.

I asked for her help to write the review and she told me to talk about how smoothly it rode and that it was so easy to handle.  She then told me to talk about how its great for a work-out and that little kids will not only love playing with it, but they will also be moving around and staying fit.

She agreed with the site and said it was def. like flying at ground level.  She just told me to mention it did take her a moment or two to get use to marching, but once she got the hang of it she was fine.

Oh and on a complete side note the little Brat added it to her Christmas list lol

As I said before the Zike Z100 is only 1 model offered by Zike if you wish to learn more please see my link below:

The Lazy One review

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.

The Lazy One review

Lazy One is located in the Rocky Mountains of Northern Utah and began as a family dream.  A man, his wife, and their dream to provide the world with what was sorely needed--funny boxer shorts.
The dream began based around the thought “humor is funny,” they began “moosing around” with ideas, ultimately producing not only funny boxers, but also t-shirts, leisurewear, sleepwear and more, all featuring funny and humorous wildlife.
Basically Lazy One is all about keeping us warm with super comfy PJ’s and cozy slipper socks, but also keeping us laughing with fun designs.
I'm sure you can tell since their products incorporate wildlife they are nature lovers.  That being said Lazy One strives to “go green” as they move toward becoming a plastic-free company. Hangers made from recycled paper, biodegradable bags and an emphasis on recycling are all top priorities of Lazy One.

I personally was able to review from the FlapJacks collection!  Wondering what FlapJacks are??  You know those awesome PJS that open up in the back :).  I always wanted a pair of Pj's like this!  I think they are fun.  When I wrote the company I kinda figured they would want to review with my kiddos.  You know cute kids running around in their PJ's would sell a lot better.  Boy was I wrong the wonderful people at The Lazy One sent a pair of these PJ's to each member of my family!  So now everyone in my family owns the same pair of PJ's!  How cute/awesome is that :)

Okay more about the product!
We reviewed Bear Cheeks in Plaid.

Stretchy, comfy and warm, FlapJacks are a modern take on the classic long johns, and they even come with trap door!

100% Cotton Rib fabric. They come is so many sizes from Infant 6, 12 & 18 Mo. Kids 2t, 3t, 4t, 6, 8, 10, 12. & Adults XS-XL.  Making it easy to fit the whole family into a cute pair of PJ's!!

Not only are these warm they are super comfy!  I normally have a hard time sleeping in PJ's because they are itchy or not at all comfy.  I didn't have that issue with the Lazy One's FlapJacks!  They were super soft and oh so comfortable :).

The easy to do buttons in the front were perfect for my little guys.  They were easily able to take them off for potty breaks.

My oldest wanted to use the trap door in the back, but I talked him out of it lol.  I personally didn't want to clean up that mess considering he has no clue how to really use it hehe.

absolutely love these Pj's I think its cute you can dress the entire family is the same style.

This is only one design in the FlapJack collection.
And the FlapJack collection is only one style of Pj's.
They have so many different styles and designs that everyone is sure to find something they love :)

Santa Will Write review

Santa Will Write review

To little kids Santa is Christmas!  Catching glimpse of him at the mall, seeing his shows on Tv, and waiting for him Christmas Eve.  Kids adore him they became ecstatic at the very mention of his name.

So I'm sure you can imagine how excited my kids were when they got their very own personal letter from Santa!
Let me tell you a bit about the letter before I tell you how my kiddos reacted!

Personalized throughout just for your child
Shiny red huge envelope with fancy address label art
Santa's TRUE signature on every letter
MAGIC Santa dust in every letter
 High quality original stationery
Newly written letters each year
 Your children will always remember
Amazing price & value
 Postage stamp from NORTH POLE

First off they seen the red envelope with the North Pole stamp.  Right away they were aware something awesome was in this package.  Then I removed and began to read!  Their faces had equal amounts of awe.  When I was done both of them jumped up and had to touch the letter and make sure it was real.  I could tell that it had them both excited and feeling special.  Santa took time from his day just to write to them.
And yes I know Quinn Looks crazy in this photo LOL!!  That was how excited he was :)

I'm so impressed with this company and I know my boys will always remember their letter from Santa.

Grover & Friends review

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.

Grover & Friends review

Confession time...  Sometimes I think my hubby takes fashion advice from a 5th grader!  LOL He seems to think its okay to wear hoodies and should-have-been thrown away jeans.  You know the ones us women cringe at.

Now my hubby and I are close, super close we tell each other everything.  Even so I have a hard time telling the man he has no fashion sense.  So I went in search of a way to "fix" it.  A way to get my hubby to dress better without hurting his feelings.
I found that way with Grover & Friends
Let me tell you about the main company Grover.  They are a Los Angeles based Men's Apparel brand focused on quality apparel. All of their materials are made entirely in the USA.  So not only am I upgrading my hubby's wardrobe I'm always supporting american made items! They just recently grown their business to include a Subscription Box for men called Grover & Friends.
Basically they ship monthly apparel from Groover and that of their "friends."  The"friends" being up and coming , unique, and boutique brands.

So who is this box great for you may ask??
I think it great for Dads and/or is a great gift for women who want their man to upgrade his wardrobe.  You can gift it to any man you think is in need of an upgrade.

I couldn't wait to get my box.  Like I said hubby needs an upgrade.  I decided to save it for Christmas and had my little brother come over to model the clothing for you :)

Okay we reviewed an awesome wallet made by Clark & Madison.  My hubby has what we call the over-sized wallet.  It nice when we go on a big shopping trip and he needs access to lots of reward cards/credit cards.  The thing is there is room for nothing!  So if he has an important card it gets lost in the mix.  It will be nice to have this slimmer card holder to put his important cards in so that they are easily accessed :)

Next came the tee!  My hubby has tees, but most of him have obnoxious photos or saying on them.  It was time he got a grown up tee.  This is a Grover Tee.  Just a basic layer tee that goes great with any outfit.

And this sweater!  I was most excited about this!  I'm so sick of looking at hoodies this is such an improvement!
It is the Grover Raglan Tee.  Its super durable and I'm sure you can see very stylish!  I can't wait until Christmas to give it to my hubby :)!

Thanks Luke for being a good sport and modeling these great items from Grover and Friends!!
(And no you can't keep the sweater)

I'm very impressed with Grover & Friends.  Each item in the box is stylish and high quality.
Each month you can add even more style to the man in your life's wardrobe.  These pieces are the foundation to a great wardrobe and must have items for every man's closet.
