Best Choice Toys

I was given products in this post to test and give my honest feedback.  All opinions are my own.
Welcome to the 2015 Simply Me Holiday Gift guide!  The holidays should be fun.  At times finding the perfect gift, great deals, decorating and recipes can be overwhelming.  The Simply Me Blog wants to put the fun back into the Holidays so over the next several weeks I will be posting great gifts for everyone, decorating tips, recipes and everything in-between!

A few years ago I noticed that my kids always seem to want my stuff!  They want my kindle, my computer, my car, my books they just want everything I own :)
I discovered that if I get them stuff that looks like mine or looks "ADULT" (As they would say) they love it!  The more real it looks the better.

Recently I discovered Best Choice Toys and right away I knew their toys would be a hit with my kids!  They put a lot of detail into their toys and make the look like little replicas of the real thing.

They offer a lot in their shop, today though I am going to feature the two I was able to review.

Best Choice Products 12V MP3 Kids Ride on Truck Car R/c Remote Control, LED Lights, AUX and Music

My boys LOVE this car!  Before I forget I want to mention a few things up front.  I know this car looks like it has two seats, it does not.  1 child can sit in this car at a time (Or maybe two smaller children).
It took me a few minutes to figure out where the charger goes.  I will include a photo where it goes, the charger goes above the right wheel.  You lift a silver tab to plug it in.

Finally it arrives with the stickers all attached, a few of my stickers were starting to come up though.  This was easily fixed by me just smoothing them out, this was a lot better then having to put them on all from scratch.
Now for my review :).  Super easy to put together, I think my hubby and I only had to put in 12 screws.  A screw driver was the only tool we needed to put this together.  It also came with extra screws in case we lost any.  We had this together in 45 minutes.  Again the stickers being in place was a huge plus for me!  When I have to put them on they are always crocked and I end up ripping half of them!  So I was pretty excited to see these already in place
The instructions are pretty easy to follow and give you both photos and written instructions.  Being able to read and look at what we were suppose to do made putting it together super easy.
Once together we tested everything out.  My boys are 4 and 8 and were ohhhing and awwwing the whole time.
This is what they loved
1) MP3 hook up.  My oldest has a small device player (Dont ask me which one they all look the same to me), there is a cord  (Included) up front where he can plug it in and listen to his music.  We can also control the volume!

2) The lights are pretty awesome too!  They flash different colors when you push buttons on the wheel.  There are lights up front and in the back and they flash several colors.  The buttons on the wheel also beep and play songs.  The dashboard lights up as well.
3) The car has two speeds and can go both forward and backwards.  This is controlled by a stick shift instead the car  Or you can push a button inside the car to allow parents to control it with a remote control!   This was pretty cool, like a adult size RC that the kids can ride in!  I think my hubby and I had way to much fun with this feature.  I had a blast driving my kids around, they giggled the entire time and kept putting their hands in the air and telling our neighbor "LOOK WE CAN DRIVE WITH NO HANDS"
4) Finally the car looks cool.  At least that is what my 8 year old says!!  He likes how the mirrors stick out at the side, he loves the high backs of the seats, the silvered colored rims and the fact it looks kind of like a real car.  It plays music, makes sounds and has lights in all the right spots.  A lot of detail went into make this car the ultimate kid ride.
This is a great toy for kids!

So far we have only drove on the road and sidewalk.  We had a pretty wicked rain storm last week so our yard is a mess right now.  I am hoping the mud clears up soon and I can tell you how it goes in grass :)

Best Choice Products Kids Drum Set Kids Toy with Cymbals Stands Throne Black Silver Boys Toy Drum Kit

This is a very cute set that provides hours of fun for little ones. The set is on the smaller end, so it doesn't take up much space in the kids room. I have a 4 and 8 year old and it was a good size for the both of them to play. The stool seat is a bit lower so my 8 year old normally stands to play with it.

No tools are required to put it together, everything just slides easily into place. You get two sticks to play your drums and bang on the cymbal. And the big drum even has a foot pedal. I would double check and make sure you put the pedal in correctly. The first time we tried to step on it it came loose. It turns out we didn't have it snapped into the right slot! So double check this when you are putting it together. Everything is plastic so on top of not taking up much space it is super easy to move around!
I love that the drums are different sizes and kind of look like an adult set!
They also don't get overly loud.

Lillypet Colorful Horse Hair Leather Pet Puppy Dog Soft Collar

Disclaimer:  I was given coupons to purchase products in this post.  All opinions are still my own.

Lillypet Colorful Horse Hair Leather Pet Puppy Dog Soft Collar

We have 4 weeks and 3 days until my new little puppy comes home!  I got to see him on Sunday and I am already in love.
I can't wait for him to come home and meet the rest of the family.
I have been gearing up for my new little guy.  I got him a bed, toys, treats and even got him some food already.  I have a training crate coming and his leash and collar just arrived!

The collar is so pretty.  The color is exactly like it looks in the photo.  A pretty red and a dark onyx black.  The inside of the collar is a padded leather which is great for comfort.  I don't have to worry about it rubbing my pups neck when he pulls on walks.  The outside (The part you see) looks and feels soft.  Again this was great for me when I walk him.
I had my fair share of sore fingers from pulling pups.  The softness and padding should help!!

As I said my puppy is coming in mid December and I wanted to get something that would grow with my little guy.  It has 3 metal rings to switch up the size.  So you can adjust it to fit you pup or cat I think on its smallest setting it may fit a larger cat.
Before I got my puppy I wanted to make sure the collar was durable.  So I tested it out on my brother's chihuahua mix for a week.  The smallest setting fit him perfectly.

I also liked the easy clip on feature.  Instead of having to use an extra finger to put the leash on I just simply push down onto collar clamp and it slides into place.  Some days I am in a rush, so the easy clip on is a great feature.

The leash is long enough that I can comfortably walk a smaller dog.
Neck Collar 9.8"-12", Leash 47.2" x 0.7"
Also the part where your hand goes is large.  My hubby hates when I get dainty leashes since his hand can't fit into it.
In this photo you can see how my hubby's larger hands fits easily into the space

Overall I am very happy with this purchase.  The collar is pretty, durable, soft and the perfect size!

There is 4 weeks and 3 days until my little guy gets here!  I can't wait to show him his new collar and all the other stuff I got for him :)

Pink Blush Maternity: Holiday gift guide

I was given products in this post to test and give my honest feedback.  All opinions are my own.

Fashion can be tough when we have a little one growing inside of us.  I know to often I just gave up and slipped on a pair of sweats and tee shirt.  I so wanted to look cute for the holidays and other events.  I just didn't have clothing that looked cute :(
It was an issue and one I wish I knew the answer too.  Well now I do!
Pink Blush Maternity understand that women still want to look stylish and cute even with a growing belly.  The other EVERYTHING an expected mother could need in her wardrobe during those months.
And I mean everything tops, pants, dresses and even PJS!
Okay lets be honest here, I am not an expecting mother.  That doesn't stop me from wearing my Pink Blush clothing!  Great for expecting moms, but still pretty awesome for those of us who already have kiddos.
So instead of promoting this as a great gift for moms to be I am just going to say Pink Blush Maternity has great items for ALL WOMEN :)

I own a few things from them and everything I own is cute, stylish and durable.  They have lasted me years with no signs of wear and tear.
Recently I was given the Beige Knit Crochet Trim top for review. It comes in several colors and sizes.
I reviewed well in Beige (Hence the title I used lol)

When you're constructing your fall wardrobe, a soft knit  top with crochet detailing is a must have. Not only is it versatile, but it is is also flattering, and has enough feminine detailing to stand out from other knits out there.

I love the cute black designs at the bottom.  Something so simple, but it really does make the shirt stand out and give it that stylish feel.
I would feel confident wearing this picking my little man up from preschool or even on date night with my hubby!  It is both dressy and casual.  A perfect piece for any closet since it can be worn as both.
I have a small house my closet is a sad hole in the wall.  I need pieces that count since I have such limited space.

The item I review is just one of many things offered at Pink Blush Maternity.  The have everything you need to make a cute stylish wardrobe.

Yacun Women's Sleeveless Chiffon Bohemian Swing Casual Maxi Dress

I used a coupon to purchase this product for free.  All opinions are still my own.

Yacun Women's Sleeveless Chiffon Bohemian Swing Casual Maxi Dress

I have been changing my look lately and trying to wear more girly stuff.  I've been doing my makeup, curling my hair, painting my nails and trying out jewelry.

One of the things I found I really love is dresses!  I only wore them before on special occasions, now I find myself wearing them at least once a week.
And I adore my new Chiffon Bohemian Swing Casual Maxi Dress!

This dress is so pretty!!
I reviewed in the white color and I love it!

The material of the dress is really smooth the inside slip part (Attached to dress) feels like satin!  I am 5' 2", a bit on the shorter side, the dress did go to my ankles so there was no issues.  I may have to wear a bit of heel though.  The white is a little see through I have a nude color bra that worked perfectly with it.  I would suggest a strapless bra for this garment as well.  The neck part ties behind you neck so your straps will show if you don't.
I used the satin sash to tie right under my chest area and it gave the dress great shape!  (It also helped to hike it up a bit, I am short :)!)  I wore my "bow" in the front, even though I think it was meant to go in the back.  I think it looks great both ways.
And I love that the bottom part of the dress is really flowy.
It fit just as expected!  I was just in my sisters wedding, so I know what my dress size was.  I used the size chart when ordering and it was right on!  So huge plus for being true to size
I can see myself wearing this to weddings and parties.  I can also see myself wearing this in the spring.  It can be dressed up or casual.

Also you can't beat the price!  I couldn't believe it when I seen how affordable this dress was.

Sands Alive! Glow by Play Visions

A few years ago I took my boys to the beach and my little Quinn discovered Sand.  And it was a wondrous thing to my at the time little 1 1/2 year old.  I remember he had sand every where and it took my hubby and I an hour in the shower to get it all off.
Quinn was in love though!  Last year we got to go again to the beach and again little Quinn was thrilled with this squishy, build-able, truck playable stuff.
My dad finally said ENOUGH!  The boys shouldn't have to wait to play with sand once a year I will build him a sand box.  So in the yard him and my brother went.  A few hammers to thumb, splinters and spilled finisher later Quinn's sand box was done.
And my Quinn has never been more grateful for anything in his life.  If I would let him he would be in there from sun up until sun down.  As Winter slowly moves in though we have to cover up our sand box and put away our summer toys.  I always hate doing this because it breaks his little heart.  My hubby and I keep pushing off doing it, because little Quinn looks so sad every-time we walk out with the winterized tarp.
Don't worry dear readers though.  My sweet Quinn is in for a treat come Christmas time.  Santa heard of his love for Sand.  He is getting Quinn Sand Alive! Glow.

Sands Alive! Glow is fun and easy to use. When you're ready to take your Sands Alive! to the next level, bring it into the dark and watch it magically come to life. Use the special Sands Alive! Glow tools (included) to doodle on the sand. Sands Alive!, the indoor no-mess play sand is bacteria-free, never dries out, and is flying off store shelves. It's fun to play with, stimulates creativity and is easy to sculpt, making it a great indoor and outdoor activity. This incredible sand now has an added element that is truly mind-glowing - you have the power to make it glow with Sands Alive! Glow.

A sand that can be played indoors!!  A sand that is fun year round!  A sand that doesn't have to go away just because Winter is here?!!!
Yes you read that right, this is a sand that Quinn can play with year round.  He never has to put it away and better yet this is like Sand 2.0!  It glows and comes to life.  Okay well not alive, but it glows and in Quinn's mind that will be like it coming to life.
It never dries out, it is mess free, no bacteria, non sticky, non toxic, wont stain and it is all natural.

You can use a special doddle to draw or sculpt in the sand.   When you turn out the lights you can watch it glow and come to life.

I read online the more you play the fluffy the sand gets.  Also it is water solution-able.  Meaning if you it gets in your mouth it will dissolve.

I can't wait to see my Quinn's face when he first sees his indoor sand!  To learn more or purchase for your little one please see my link below:

Revell Cars

I was given products in this post to test and give my honest feedback.  All opinions are my own.
Welcome to the 2015 Simply Me Holiday Gift guide!  The holidays should be fun.  At times finding the perfect gift, great deals, decorating and recipes can be overwhelming.  The Simply Me Blog wants to put the fun back into the Holidays so over the next several weeks I will be posting great gifts for everyone, decorating tips, recipes and everything in-between!

It is no secret that my boys are obsessed with all things cars.  They like to work on them, they like to go to car shows and the even like to build them.  Okay by build them I of course me mini sized model cars.  If they could build cars I would save a ton of money!
Recently I came across a new company.  Revell not only are their car designs trendy, but the cars are easy to build.  My kids are 4 and 7 they need something a bit easier.
We do have to help them a bit, but for the most part my kids were able to do most of the work.
The best part is, even after building yourself the finished product is durable!  So kids can play with their creation.

Before I talk about the 3 products I was sent I want to that this is only 3 of MANY!  I wouldn't have enough space to mention all of their items.

Climb aboard for a high-seas adventure The crew of the Black Diamond lives on a cutlass' edge, sweeping the high seas of any lubber hapless enough to get in range of the long nines. This crew of sea dogs is looking for a new captain to lead them to riches, do you have what it takes? Sure you do, the one-piece hull makes it easy to get the Diamond into the seas. But beware, there's a short rope hanging from a tall mast for any who get themselves caught by the East India Company.

1/25 Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon Model Kit

The iconic Jeep has been continuously improved since its introduction with the military in World War II, keeping abreast with changing times and managing to stay relevant through the decades. Much has changed, but at its core the Jeep is the same all-terrain, go anywhere machine that carried the Allies deep into Axis territory. The Rubicon, named after the Rubicon Trail in the Sierra Nevada Range, had special features such as front and rear Dana 44 axles, Rock-Trac four-wheel drive, and special alloy wheels. Kit features easy, snap-together construction.

The new Challenger borrows much of its style from the seventies model, the two are just not in the same class. With a zero to sixty of just four seconds, the 2013 Challenger SRT8 is one of the fastest production pony cars ever. Plus, with the 2013 topping out at 180, there's nothing left for the old model to do but eat dust. Kit features fully-detailed V-8 engine, decorated body and metal axles.

I am not ready to have my boys drive real cars anytime soon.  I am so okay with them playing with these super cool Revell cars!  Building them is only half the fun.  Once they are done the fun lasts for hours and hours.  Plus there is nothing like bragging to your buddies and saying you built you own toy!

Better yet they are even sold at your local Michael's!

Sally Hansen Pretty long lasting nail color for the holidays

I was given products in this post to test and give my honest feedback.  All opinions are my own.
Welcome to the 2015 Simply Me Holiday Gift guide!  The holidays should be fun.  At times finding the perfect gift, great deals, decorating and recipes can be overwhelming.  The Simply Me Blog wants to put the fun back into the Holidays so over the next several weeks I will be posting great gifts for everyone, decorating tips, recipes and everything in-between!

How many of us have been in that dreaded situation when we have a chip in our nail color!  You know what I mean when you try to keep your fingers tucked into you palm so no one else will see this horror!  LOL Okay maybe it isn't a horror, but I do feel super self conscience when I go somewhere and half my color in chipped away.  I am an everyday mom, and by that I mean I don't have a life of luxury.  Though out a normal day I do dishes, clean the bathroom, mop the floor, dust, fold clothing, make meals and take care of my kiddos.... AND MY PUPS.  My hands get quite the work out and I swear some days I paint my nails and half way through the day they look horrid.  Last year I discovered a gel nail polish at Walmart.  I thought well, what the heck I tried everything else lets give it a go...
WHOA  that is all I have to say because this color last.  Now don't get me wrong I have had chips come out of the color, but it happens several days later.  Not that day, not that hour.
When I found out I would be getting the chance to review products with Sally Hansen I was pretty pumped.
Why you may ask?  They have some of the best gel nail polishes out there!
Plus they offer a HUGE selection of color.
I was able to review 3 colors from the Miracle Gel Sally Hansen collection
Here is how it works.  First you find the color that best suits you.  I am like a little whirl wind, so for me that color changes every couple of weeks.  My hubby claims he long ago gave up trying to figure out my personality.  According to him the only word that comes to mind is hyper :)
So for hyper I choose
Red Eye

Game of Chromes (Okay the dork in my choose this one... Fingers crossed John Snow is still
 with us!!)

Bare Dare

That is a red, shimmery gold and pale creme.
So color has been chosen, now it is time to paint.
With the Miracle Gel you want to prep your nails.  Buff then, file them, shape them.  Whatever it is you do, do it before you begin to paint.
You then paint coat number one.  It is very important you let this coat dry.  You don't want to end up with clumps or unevenness.  Coat one helps to set up smoothness for coat two.  I like my nails, but they do have some natural unevenness.
After coat one dries I always put on a second coat.  Not only does it really make the color pop it also helps to add an extra layer to prevent chipping.  And to give nails a smooth finished look
Let this dry too.
Now we have on two coats.  The final touch is the top coat.  This is just a clean protective coat.  It really helps to prevent chips and color fading.
The color and top coat dry super fast.  So don't worry about the drying in between it doesn't take long.
There is over 61 shade so you are sure to find something you love.
I have been wearing my first color for 4 days now with no issues!  If I start to see chips I will have to update this post, but so far I am pretty impressed with the Miracle Gel.
I got salon quality, without the salon price tag!!

Okay so the Miracle Gel has this girl impressed it was time to try out the kit.  Now I didn't want to remove my color so I forced my sister to come over to get her nails painted.  And by force I called my mom to see if she had time and my sister ripped the phone from her and said "My is busy, but I'm free..."  Mffling in the backroom.... Mom gets back on the phone, and claims she is free too.  So I ended up sharing my polish with both of them. I think I should get a best daughter/sissy award!!
So here is what the kit is.  A new salon gel polish, gel manicure starter kit.

You can get up to 10 salon gel manicures at home that each last about 2 weeks.  In the kit you have a led lamp, gel base coat, gel nail color, gel top coat, nail cleanser pads, acetone remover, cuticle stick and of course an how to sheet.
Okay you see the photo above that is the color polish that comes in the kit.  So if you are a red lover like me this is perfect for you.
This was a bit different then the miracle gel.  Step ones was a base coat.
This was just a simple clear coat for the nails.  After you applied this you put your nails under the lamp for 30 seconds.  After this step you applied the gel color.  Again another 30 seconds under the lamp.
You can do one or two coats that is up to you.  Each coat needs 30 seconds under the lamp though.
The last step was the top coat.  Again this one was clear, it just offered a protective coat for your nails.  You also need 30 seconds under the lamp.

We were all impressed with not only the mirror shine, but also how their nails really did have that salon look to them!  They dried evenly and the color really popped.
There are three different color kits, I know red isn't everyone's cup of tea.  So if you want a different color they do offer it in the kits.
I know so of you may cringe at the price tag.  I just want to remind you though that a normal Salon charges $50 for a gel manicure.
For that price you can get 10 at home manicures!!  10 sitting in front of the TV watch Supernatural (I <3 Dean) manicures.  That is 10 don't have to do your hair/makeup sitting in your PJ's on your couch manicures.

I don't know about you, but that is a deal I consider hard to pass up!

The incredible items I reviewed are only 5 of many offered by Sally Hansen.  To see everything the offer please check out my link below:

NYC New York Color

I was given products in this post to test and give my honest feedback.  All opinions are my own.
Welcome to the 2015 Simply Me Holiday Gift guide!  The holidays should be fun.  At times finding the perfect gift, great deals, decorating and recipes can be overwhelming.  The Simply Me Blog wants to put the fun back into the Holidays so over the next several weeks I will be posting great gifts for everyone, decorating tips, recipes and everything in-between!

 NYC New York Color

My little sister has always been a big makeup wearer.  She went through an emo phase (And I swear for months she told me she was Elmo....  okay not really, but I so loved to tease her and pretend that is what I thought she was saying)  Next came her raccoon eye phase, her Gothic (Which according to her can never be confused with emo) phase and finally after years of me teasing her she is starting her what I like to call "Normal phase."

Please note all the other phases looked pretty on her and at times I was jealous of the heavy eye makeup look she wore.  We are sisters though and it is my job to tease and harass her as much as possible.

Now I am 28 and for years I was a bare minimalist when it came to makeup.  SPF, little cover up, some mascara and a dash of gloss... TADA I was done.
Earlier in the year I had a major change.  I wanted to change my look.  $500 later in clothing and I had the new clothing down....  Now time for the makeup.  The person I teased non stop growing up was now going to mentor me on how to wear it.
Yes people I was afraid, very afraid.  It would have been the perfect time for revenge lol.
She didn't though, my sister helped me figure out what works for me and what doesn't.
One of the companies I feel in love with was NYC New York Color.
I pitched them to do a review and they sent me two products to try out.  This wasn't my first time using the companies products, but since I loved them so much I wanted to promote for them on my blog.
I was sent
As you can see there are three colors.  This is perfect to create a smoky eye look.  Plus if you go on their site they give you a step by step to create both the classic smoky eye and the cat smoky eye.
Your pack is even labeled to let you know which is which.
The middle color is the all over lid.  You take this everywhere.
The bottom color you place in your crease and blend it in to create that smoky look.
And last but not least you take the highlighter (Top) and apply to your brow bone and inner eye.
Pretty easy 1,2 and 3.
The color goes on smooth and last all day.  Plus it only cost 2.99!

Okay so my sister helped me and told me not to use a lot that a little goes a long way.  Plus I am pale she didn't want it to dark.  It went on smoothly the color really stood out and I liked that I could make it light or dark.  Depending on the the mood I was in.

So now that we got the eyes made up I wanted a pretty color for my lips.
I was sent the LIQUID LIPSHINE LIPGLOSS in SOHO Peach.

This was a very pretty color with just a hint of boldness.  I liked the fact it gave my lips a super shiny gloss look with out getting that gunky feeling.  Plus they actual have a nice smell!!  I swear it kind of reminds me of vanilla or maybe coconut.  Either way it smells good!
Easy to apply, great color, no stickiness and it last awhile.  This is my kind of gloss!

The two products I reviewed are only two of many offered NYC New York Color

Better yet they offer kits that have a little bit of everything inside.
I was able to review the all new Beauty Book All in One Makeup kit

The SHANY Beauty Book’s pages are filled with makeup that’s great for everyday or special occasion looks. This set includes: lip colors, matte blushes, eye shadows with various finishes, black and brown pencil eyeliners, waterproof liquid eyeliner, and applicators.

First off I loved all the choices.  There is a color for everything!  On the right side you can see all the eye shadow colors.  I liked that they offer lights colors such as pale pink, nude and white.  But if you are like me and some days just want to stand out they also offer black, blue and red!  Making it easy to change up your look whenever.
In the middle you can see the liners and tools are all organized, making them easy to find and always where you need them

The blush is bright and pretty and can be applied heavily or lightly.
I loved how pretty it all looked not only in the kit, but also when I put it on.
Everything went on smoothly and my pores never felt clogged when wearing.  The only thing I wish was bigger was the mirror!  At times it was tough to adjust to see what I was doing.

This is only one of the great items offered by Shany Cosmetics!  To see all they have to offer check out my link below:

American Frame review

My walls are covered in beloved family memories.  I take a camera with me everywhere and at this point  I think it is safe to say that I caught every milestone we had.
Over the years my taste in frames has gotten better.  Back in the day anything would do.  After having them all break and fade I learned the hard way to purchase quality.
That is why I am excited about American Frame!  They sell top of the line, beautiful frames.  That enhance your art work or photos.
They want your frame to be perfect for you.  So you can go onto their site and customize your frame any way you want.
You can also pick the type of frame you want.
Options are, Metal and wood.  From there you can choose flat top or round top.  You can also pick your color!  And they aren't done yet you even get to choose your design!  I wasn't fibbing when I said you get the perfect frame for you.

Okay before we go any further I have to mention something.  When ordering I did have some misconceptions.  I don't want you do have the same
First you don't get the photo you upload when picking your frame.  I thought my frame would come with my selected photo.
Next when the frame comes it isn't put together.  So make sure you have wood glue, screws, a drill and a hammer(Mallet) on hand to put it together.
None of this was an issue for me.  I just have a feeling though that if I had these misconceptions other will too.

Okay so my frame arrived super quickly.  I didn't have to do the wood glue part.  My wood was already together.  I did have to put the mat and backing on though.  I had to drill holes and also put the metal prongs on too.  And finally I had to put my "hanger" on so I could put my photo onto the wall.

This all took about 10 minutes it wasn't hard at all.  And the part that took longest was making sure my hanger part was perfectly centered.

As many of you most likely know I choose to review a black frame :).  My entire house is done in black, red and white :).  Well most of my house, my kiddos have a kids themed room of course.

Bamboo Wood Picture Frame

I was able to adjust the frame width first, also the color.  From here I had the chance to pick either wood or metal.  I really liked the wood look so I choose that.
After the wood I picked a mat, I got to pick the sizing and color.
Again I was so impressed with how personalized everything was.
After the mat I was able to mess around with the glazing.  I am not 100% sure what glazing is, so I just left that alone.
I got to choose my mounting board options and finally I had the chance to add accessories

From the start I got to decided how everything would look.  By the time I checked out I was 100% sure I was going to love my frame.
When my frame arrived I thought the quality was incredible.  This frame may be on the pricey end, but as someone whom has replaces more frames then she cares to count I can tell you in the end it is worth getting one that will last a long time.

I recently started to wear more makeup.  When I was younger I could simply clean my face, put on some SPF and a little bit of gloss and be good to go.  At 28 that doesn't work so well.  My freckles have gotten darker, the circles under my eyes bigger and the fine lines more apparent.  A few months ago I made it my mission to learn how to properly use make up.  I don't have to look like a different me, I just want to enhance what I already have.
I contacted a few companies and so far LOVE everything that was sent my way.  For someone who use to use the bare minimum I was suddenness thrust into a world of beauty.  And I have been enjoying every minute of it.
At 28 I finally realized it is fun to play with lip colors and eye shadows.  Gratifying to find new eye looks and to mess around with smokey eyes, smudge looks and even longer lashes.
As I said in the past few months I came across many companies and great products.  Today I want to tell you a bit more about The Edge Beauty.
They sent me 3 products.  A lip liner, blush and a pretty pink gloss.
I will tell you a bit about each and then show you the final look.

Soft as a lip balm and pigmented as a lacquer this product applies smoothly for luscious, silky color and a moisturizing feel.   This gloss gives you a shiny look with out that sticky feeling.  It goes on smoothly and promote hydration to make lips look healthy.
Comes in several colors I was able to review the Illuminate color.  This is only one of several.  So if you prefer darker you can still get the look you want.

What is a great gloss with out a liner.  To really gives lips a soft look The Edge Beauty offers The EDGE Beauty Iconic Lip Liner
It is long lasting and smudge free.  Perfectly to shape lips and give them a little extra wow.  Again I reviewed a lighter color for a more subtle look.  They do offer several colors though.  The rounded tip is perfect for precision application and it does go on ultra smoothly.  You can make your line as thick or thin as you want.

Finally I was able to review a blush.  Several weeks ago I took my boys to see Marvel LIVE!  At the time I had a sinus infection on top of a cold.  I looked like death warmed over.  (Don't worry you will see that in the photo at the bottom of the final look)  My checks were super pale and I didn't want to scare the locals so I of course added some blush.  I love that The Edge Beauty Iconic Blush gave my cheeks a healthy looking glow even though I felt so sick!  I love how it blends in and really does look like a natural glow.  Also it goes on smooth and doesn't make my skin feel clogged!

Now I did add my own eye makeup and coverup, but this is the final look :).  I love that it is subtle and great for anytime wear.  As I said in the photo I was super sick, but I think The EDGE beauty helped to hide that :)
