Bring on the Summer style!

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.
Bring on the Summer style
I am not a summer person, I hate the heat and the bugs, I am not a fan of theme parks and being outside makes my eye twitch.  I am not a summer kind of person.  There is 3 things though I do like about summer
1) School is out so I get to spend lots of time with my boys
2) My hubby is a grill master and can make almost anything on the grill
3) All the fun summer styles!  From hair, clothing, makeup, shoes and all the in-between

At 29 though my summer style is becoming a bit over done!  I mean really the first time I wore a waterfall braid with a side bun and a cute flower it was stunning.  8 years later the look is getting a bit old.
No worries though Scunci, Conair, John Frieda, Lumene and Aquis is here to save the day....  Well at the very least my lacking style :)
I don't know about you, but that sounds like my kind of super hero team lol
Check out some of their styling tools below to help you look cute and stay cute this summer.
We get an inside look at what is going to be in this year thanks to Laura Polko and the cute styles she picked up at the Coachella's festival!
First up lets look at Scunci products
The trusty Bobbypin with beautiful braids sweeping the festival like Poppy Delavigne’s, Shay Mitchell’s and Hannah Bronfman’s, it’s important to make sure they stay in place. Try scunci’s No Slip Grip Bobby Pins

 and
Clear Pollybands

to make sure you never have to stop rocking out to fix your hair again. The no slip design prevents roll out, even with intense movement. And if you are like me you can never have enough of them!  I swear I take them out and promise myself I will put them away later only to come back to the sink and realize they are gone!!  Either I am going to have some very clogged pipes or my kiddos have some sort of Bobby pin collection some where!
And the clear pollybands are also pretty cool!  This way I can style my hair without anyone seeing just how it is all being held in place

Okay so now we have a style lets make it stand out with some shimmer!

Multi-Dimensional Color Kylie Jenner isn’t the only one who can pull off experimenting with their hair. scunci Hair Shimmer is the perfect addition to any outfit next time you feel like adding a little sparkle and shine. With just the press of the poof, your hair and body can light up in either silver or gold.  Okay I can't be the only one excited about this product?  I mean if shimmery hair doesn't make you stand out what will?  I love the cute little bottle it comes in and the fact that one squeeze goes a LONG way.

Wow I so jumped ahead of myself here!  To get a great hair style you need to start at the well the start.  And that means brushing your hair with the right kind of tools and thanks to Conair we have those tools.
Conair Copper Brushes Conair’s new Copper Brush Set

It leaves your hair silky smooth and dried faster than you thought possible. Perfect for getting that easy breezy festival hair down right.  And if you are like me and have thick, wavy out of control hair you need a brush that can stand up to it.  These copper round brushes do just that!  With a few strokes my hair is soft and tame.  I like the different bristle options that way you can choose whichever you feel more comfortable using.  And because of the copper barrel it has 50% better hear transfer meaning your hair gets dry faster then ever before!

John Frieda though knows not everyone wants to wear there hair up.  Some of us ladies like it down and flowly.  That is why I ADORE the loose Curls curling wand.  This isn't your mama's curling iron!  It is a thousand times better!

John Frieda's Hair Wavy Curls Curling Wand gets you the perfect wave and lets your hair be as carefree as the music.  I used it last night to curl my hair and I was surprise just how soft the curls came out!  And there was no frizz at all!  Just a soft pretty flowing curl and you choose the heat setting!  Not all hair is the same so all tools shouldn't just have one function.

Okay I so did it again!  I am still ahead of myself, we need to go back just a little bit further to the real beginning and that is what to do with wet hair.  As you all may know you don't want to take out a towel and rub your hair like you would a wet dog!  That is going to get you a lot of breakage.  No hair should be treated carefully when it is wet and the all new AQUIS essentials Hair Turban makes that a pretty easy job
Aquis Lisse Luxe Hair Towel

Lisse Luxe may sound like the name of an ‘exotic’ artiste. But she’s the perfect towel for normal hair. Lisse Luxe also excels at curly hair, fine hair, damaged hair and any hair that needs gentle treatment. New generation Aquitex improves absorbency and comfort. Wraps and tucks easily leaving hands free while hair dries. Dries fast with less friction, to minimize frizz and damage.
It is pretty easy to use, tilt your head forward so you hair comes in front.  Place the towel around the back of you head and let the free stuff hang forward.  Use this free material to twist you hair up and then tuck it under.  And tada!  You can dry your hair hands free.

Well ladies I think it is safe to say are hair is looking pretty good at this point.  Lets not forget our faces though, because you hair can look super cute, but when people talk to us they mostly look at our face!
So lets keep that skin healthy and give it a youthful glow with Lumene
Lumene Bright Now Vitamin C Hyaluronic Essence

A breakthrough skincare essential that takes your daily routine to the next level.  After a day in the heat my skin feels pretty BLAH!  The sun and sweet just really get to me and my skin pays the price.  I love that I have a way to pamper it when I get home and make it look fresh again.

Bright Now 360 Eye Treatment

Lumene Bright Now 360 Eye Treatment targets all signs of aging around the eyes. Visibly diminishes dark circles, reduces puffiness and wrinkles. Designed to lift and restore firmness of the upper eyelid. Formulated with our unique patented Arctic cloudberry stem cell extract in synergy with Beautifeye technology to be a 360 eye contour solution for signs of aging.

Lets face it people, the sun and heat makes looking cute during the summer months kind of hard.  Don't admit defeat though let these super products be your summer super heroes and keep you looking cute all summer long!

Tick Tock Time for Mother's Day AcuRite style

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review all opinions are my own.
Tick Tock folks Mother's day is really just a week away (And 2 days)  Now my mom is getting spoiled rotten this year, because I just happened to find an antique store with lots of Wizard Of OZ items for her!  But my hubby and boys like always are waiting last minute (Last year I got flowers..... from my own garden lol)
I have been dropping some pretty big hints though and one of them has been sending my hubby several photos from the AcuRite website!
They offer clocks, weather station products and kitchen items.  Literally something for everyone.  Now you may not know this about me, but my house has a steampunk/vintage theme.  I have an awesome antique chest as a coffee table, ships, globes, dragons and clocks LOTS AND LOTS of clocks.  When everyone is in bed and the TV is off all you can hear his tick tock tick tock :)
I love them and they are kind of my thing.  Now this is inside, sadly outside my clock options are pretty limited.  When I seen AcuRite had a selection of outdoor, weather resistant clocks that also measured temperature and humidity I just knew I had to have one!
In the end I picked my favorite for review
The AcuRite 18-inch Metal Indoor or Outdoor Clock features built-in temperature and humidity gauges that allow you to check comfort conditions at a glance. The durable, all-weather metal frame has a metallic copper finish. This clock, thermometer, and humidity instrument combination makes a classic statement in any room, patio or garden.
The cooper makes it easy to fit into any type of patio theme.  I like that it just takes 1 AA battery to run.  And the battery area is completely covered so I don't need to worry about rain getting into it.  Once I hung it up it was super sturdy so I also don't need to worry about wind.  Also the clock face is big!  I can see my time, temperature and humidity from pretty far away.

Sometimes I focus so much on making my indoors look nice I neglect the outside.  AcuRite's Copper Metal Outdoor clock now has my front porch looking cozy and welcoming.  And before people even enter my home they get that welcoming feeling :)

5 Minutes with Jesus by Sheila Walsh

I was given a review copy of this book to enjoy and provide my personal feedback.  I was not paid to write this post.  All opinions are my own.
There's lunches to be made, laundry is piled up high, the dog hasn't been walked since Christmas, and you can’t imagine fitting one more thing into your jam-packed day. What if, however, you could take just five minutes to invest in making each day matter? These five minutes with Jesus just might become the most peaceful and meaningful moments of your day.
Jesus said that we could expect to feel overwhelmed, that trials and sorrows are simply part of life on earth. But He offers an amazing gift that changes everything: His peace.
In 5 Minutes with Jesus: Peace for Today, the second book in the 5 Minutes with Jesus series, bestselling author Sheila Walsh wants to guide you in worrying less and letting your heart be settled with short readings followed by impactful passages of Scripture. Each reading includes messages that remind you of truths such as:
Resting in the purpose God has for you brings peace.
God loves you for who you are, not what you do.
No matter how big the storm, God is bigger.
The 5 Minutes with Jesus series is the perfect way to start your day with peace of mind and a peaceful heart.

If someone was to monitor my computer time I would be ashamed of the amount of time I spend on facebook and other social media platforms.  I spend way to much time reading other peoples drama and getting to worked up over the bad choices my loved ones are making.  That time though that I spend on there doing that could so be going towards something much more valuable.
Time with my hubby, time with kiddos, time with my pups and time with Jesus.
We only have a limited amount of time in this life!  Do I really want to spend it reading about other peoples drama?
The answer is no!
The new book I found called 5 Minutes with Jesus really drove this point home and made it easier for me to set aside that small amount of time each time.  This author uses gentle words, much needed truth and a bit of humor to remind me I am not alone and that my one on one time with Jesus and God is important.

Life can become out of control.  Right now my boys have baseball everyday, expect Sundays.... But I have girls softball practice those days.  With the end of the school year coming up their our field trips, class shows and Funday.  This is all on top of the fact I am volunteering to run the fundraising for my girls team this year and my normal church functions.
I am busy and I sometimes forget to take 5 minutes to say Hi Jesus how are you today?  Thank you for watching over me as I go about my busy life and for protecting my little family.  Thank you for allow my boys to be healthy enough to play sports and for giving me a loving hubby who doesn't mind coaching both teams.  Thank you for allowing us to connect as a family and for letting my boys know they are loved and cherish.  Thank you for my silly pups who no matter what put a smile on my face and remind me that being silly is okay.  Thank you for letting us live in a safe place where we have unlimited access to food, drinks and shelter. Thank you Jesus for never letting us be alone and for having your loving hands in all that we do.

No that prayer wasn't in the book, but the book made talking to Jesus a bit easier for me.  I know some people struggle on what to say and how to say it.  The thing is Jesus knows what is in your heart and as you talk the words will come easier.  As you read this book you can feel worries being to melt away and you feel lighter and closer to Jesus.  I love how the authors really does deliver a powerful message, but in the most loving way possible.
She shares moments in her own life and makes us reflect on our own.  It is  a book worth checking out
And the book is small enough you can tuck it into your purse and keep it with you all day long.

Living a Mighty Faith A Simple Heart and a Powerful Faith By Angus Buchan

I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.
Living a Mighty Faith A Simple Heart and a Powerful Faith By Angus Buchan
A simple potato farmer with a mighty faith and a willing heart—God steps in and changes everything, just like He can do for you.
Internationally bestselling author and ministry leader Angus Buchan is the author of Faith Like Potatoesand the founder of Mighty Men Conferences, which have drawn more than 500,000 attendees to Buchan’s Shalom Farm Ministry in South Africa, with additional Mighty Men Conferences drawing thousands more worldwide.
Although Buchan speaks to thousands all over the world, he and his wife, Jill, are simple potato farmers who know what it means to allow God to do more through them than they could ever imagine. They founded Beth-Hatlaim, a ministry that aims to provide a permanent home for children who have been abandoned or orphaned, with no known relatives. Buchan travels and leads crusades similar to the likes of Billy Graham.
This 365-day devotional will help you see what God can do in your life when you believe big and open your heart. Devotions focus on sharing your faith, serving others, and becoming a little more like Jesus each day.

I was so that person who only went to Church on special occasions.  Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals and stuff like that.  Then last summer I had my wake up call.  Now I can't get into my Church doors enough.  I started to pick up my Bible more and the love I found their was breathtaking.  The love Jesus and God have for us is unconditional, without reserve and doesn't need to be earned.  You can be a billionaire, a house wife, a mailman, own your own company or just a simple potato farmer like the author of this book.
No matter what you have God's love and each and everyday you can bask in that love by living a mighty faith :)
That is what this devotional book reminds me of each time I turn a page.  Each page is filled with a loving message and thought.  No two are the same and each message is backed up with scripture.
Also at the end of each message is a short prayer.  It is a great way to start off any day or to finish any day, whenever it is you like to read.
To give you an idea of the message delivered this is a small part of April 28
*Early one morning as I set off for my run, I saw a goose flying back and forth across the sky all by himself.  As you may know, geese do not fly alone; they fly in flocks.  This goose was calling for his friends.  He was well and truly lost and my heart went out to him.
How about you?  Are you flying on your own?  There's no doubt we need each other.  This is no such things as a solitary Christain or a lone ranger in God's kingdom.  In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me."  If you are lost today, know that the Lord is calling you to join Him and His family.*

There is more to the page, but that first part alone is so powerful.  So though provoking that it is hard not to take action to be part of God's family. As I said that is just ONE page of many, the entire book is like this and by the end of the book I have a feeling I will for sure be living a Mightier Faith then when I started!

Travel Sonic Toothbrush

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own
 Travel Sonic Toothbrush

I hate when I go on vacation and can't take my electric toothbrush.  My teeth just don't get that deep clean feeling when I use a throw away brush :(.  So I am left feeling self conscience the entire trip, wondering if my teeth look funky.
When I read about the Travel Sonic ToothBrush from ToiletTree I thought wow I just HAVE to have it :)

So here is what I like:
It is small enough to fit almost anywhere.  I can put it in the side of my suit case or even in my purse.
It comes with a lid so I don't need to worry about get stuff on my bristles.
Also the bristles are soft I have receding gum lines, so soft bristles are a must for me.
You can replace they top, that way you don't need to buy a whole new brush every 6 months.

Here is what I didn't like:
It didn't vibrate really well.  I felt like the handheld part did most of the vibrating and not the bristles.  So I didn't get that deep clean I desperately want.
And it takes batteries, I get that since it is travel friendly this is a must.  I would have preferred though being able to charge it at home and have it last a week when I was away.

So on a 5 star rating I will give it 3.  It does have some great features, but also has room to improve.

None Like Him: 10 Ways God Is Different from Us (and Why That's a Good Thing) By Jen Wilkin

NONE LIKE HIM BY Jen Wilkin

God is self-existent, self-sufficient, eternal, immutable, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, sovereign, infinite, and incomprehensible. We're not. And that's a good thing. Our limitations are by design. We were never meant to be God. But at the root of every sin is our rebellious desire to possess attributes that belong to God alone. Calling us to embrace our limits as a means of glorifying God's limitless power, Jen Wilkin invites us to celebrate the freedom that comes when we rest in letting God be God.

When I was a little girl I was so that kid that asked WHY, BUT WHY!
As an adult I still hate easy answers, I like to know the why.  I like to dig deeper and really understand things.  So as a little girl as I sat in Sunday school class and was told God created you 'the end.'
A very small me cocked her head and asked, why, what is God like, how did he decided what I will look like?  At this point in time I was stuck in a timeout for being difficult :)
I do like digging deeper though and this book allows me to do just that.
Through biblical scriptures the author of this book dwells deep into the characteristics of God.  And she makes us question if we are trying to take on a characteristic that belongs only to God?  Do we try to hard to play God?  I love that at the end of each section there are some deep thinking questions.  A few of them I had to ask myself a couple of times.  Not because they were "hard to understand", but because I really didn't know my answer.
My favorite section was "Living in the Present"  I tend to worry about the future A LOT!  It ruins the present for me almost all the time.  I like that this part of the book reminds me live today, not yesterday and not tomorrow.  And it says to live to fully!
And this book reminds me God has it under control, he doesn't go by time!  He knows when things will happen and SHOULD happen
"For everything...a season, and a time for every matter under Heaven."

Each chapter is like this.  Deep thinking, going deeper, I got to see God in a whole new way.  And I can safely say that it put things into perspective.  That I feel like I know him a little better then I did before reading this book.  It is safe to say that I will never totally know God a part of him will always be a mystery, but I have a whole lifetime to get closer to him :)
Instead of trying to play God I am starting to learn it is okay to just let him take the wheel of my life.  He will get me where I need to be and when I need to be there.

Surprised by the Healer: Embracing Hope for Your Broken Story

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.

Surprised by the Healer: Embracing Hope for Your Broken Story

I like that in the title of this book the words BROKEN STORY are used.  Because to often people think that their life story means they are broken and it is so not true. God can heal all things.

About the Book

God’s word declares that there is healing for your deepest pains, hope for your biggest disappointments, and victory over your addictions, past hurts, and past failures. He can redeem your broken story.
In these pages, you will meet nine courageous women who have agreed to tell their stories, to share with you how they moved from hopelessness and brokenness to hope and healing. Whether from sexual abuse, betrayal in marriage, or other harrowing experiences, the Healer invited them on a unique journey of redemption in the midst of deep pain. He is inviting you, too.

Linda Dillow and Dr. Juli Slattery, cofounders of Authentic Intimacy, have been writing and ministering to women in the church and clinical context for several decades. Their wisdom and experience overflow in this work to give you a trusted resource in journeying toward healing.
Includes a study guide for each chapter in the back of the book.
Surprised by the Healer: Embracing Hope for Your Broken Story
So the book is broken down by stories, each chapter is a story for a different woman.  The chapter title tells you their name and a little sneak peek at what there story will be.
For example chapter 4 is:
Lorraine's Story
Walking in Forgiveness
And even then the chapter are broken down even more.  It is a very easy to follow along book.
Now more about the content.  Each of the women are very real with us, I get the feeling they left nothing out their stories and they put it all out there for us.  I liked that!  There was no shame, just women telling their stories of healing.  It makes it easy to relate to them, to see parts of your life in their story.  And I love on page 70 "Fighting the Accuser"  It says, "There is a reason so many Christian women hang on to the their guilt of their sin even though they know God's total forgiveness.  There is someone who does not want you to be free; his name is Satan"
That part right there was a wake up call for me.  God doesn't want me to feel shame and guilt.  He is a loving God so he wants me to be free and feel loved.  It is Satan who wants me to feel bad about myself.
Every story in this book drives God's love home, God's forgiveness.  You may not be able to relate to the "Sin" each women committed, but you can relate to their feelings.  To that brokenness they felt and I think through their stories you will see healing is possible.
They are all still works in progress, but they are all on the right path now.

Norm of the North

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.
Snow is my favorite type of Weather.  I love the coldness and I adore taking my kiddos and pups outside to make snowmen and have snowball fights.  My 2nd favorite type of weather is rain, to me there is nothing better then curling up under a warm blanket with a good book and listening to the rain pitter patter outside.
I have 2 little boys though and being stuck inside and torture for them.  And I wont fib me too!!  It is hard to read when I have to get up every 2 minutes to fix something or help them do something.
So I had to compromise my rainy days rituals now instead of curled up reading a good book we make a living room drive in movie area!!  Yes it is as dorky as it sounds, we get out our sleeping bags, turn out the lights, grab our favorite snacks and curl up together to watch a movie.  Now instead of rainy days being dreaded we all look forward to our movie day.
So we all know the saying April Showers bring May Flowers, I feel like that saying was coined here in PA.  We have had our fair share of rainy days!!!
No worries though thanks to our awesome movie collection it has been okay :)
The latest to our collection is Norm Of the North

Lionsgate’s family adventure Norm of the North is heading to Digital HD March 29 and Blu-ray Combo Pack April 19! Follow the adventures of Norm, a polar bear from the Arctic who happens to have some very unusual talents and who has to head outside of his comfort zone to save his home! Norm embarks on a laugh-filled adventure in New York City with his lemming pals as they all try to stop greedy humans from turning the Arctic into a suburban neighborhood, and he makes some new friends along the way. This new movie is packed with laughs, music, fun characters and heart, Norm of the North is a must-own for the entire family! Bring home this heroic adventure on Digital HD March 29 and Blu-ray Combo Pack April 19!

So the movie was okay.....  My kiddos giggled, but I did notice that half way through the movie they started to lose interest.  I feel like the plot was a bit lacking.  The lemmings were def. the best part, they at least made us giggle several times!!
Overall though I do think it is worth watching, it isn't going to be one of those epic movies that you want to watch over and over again.... BUT it is a cute rainy day movie :)

#LoveHallmark “Inspire & Connect" collection

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.
I remember the first time I held my oldest son and the love that washed over me so fast it took my breath away.  I remember the first time I seen my hubby hold him and tears came to my eyes at the beautiful sight before me.  I remember all these little moments and the feels they inspired.
Ken Sheldon understands that feeling and using his talents as an artist to capture them in drawings.
And thanks to Hallmark we can now own his drawings in the form of mugs, pillows, frames and more.  They tell a story of love from a parents point of view.
I wanted to share some of these items with you and also the feelings they inspired in me.

All the Love Ceramic Mug

For me this one made me think of the first time my boys made eye contact with me.  I remember that day and the connection I felt with my boys.  For Brandon Jr he was in the hospital crying because he was still struggling with breathing issues several days after has born.   I remember I started to sing to him right in front of all the nurses and he stopped crying and seeked my face out.  When he found it we made eye contact and in that moment I knew it was going to be okay.
For Quinn we were both tired and it had been a really long night.  My hubby had work the next day, so I Quinn out to rock him a bit in the living room.  As I was rocking him he looked up at me and just held my stare.  I started to giggle, because I just knew that me and him were going to be fast friends.  And we are!  He is my little night owl and it is normal for the 2 of us to be up the latest at home.

Hold Onto Forever Embroidered 10x10 Pillow

Nothing breaks my heart more then to think about the fact my kids are growing up.  They no longer need me to bathe them, comb their hair and help them get dressed.  There is just so much they can do on their own, but there are times when only my love will do.
This year on Easter Quinn got hurt, he fell at my nannies house and ended up having to get stitches.  Both my boys started to scream and cry for me.  Being mom I ran as fast as I could to help them.  I was the only one Quinn would let near his hand and at the same time I had to tell Brandon Jr his brother was going to be okay, it was going to be okay.  At the hospital I sang the "Where is Thumbkin" song with them to calm them both down and in moments we were all smiling.  Both boys were scared, but I made them feel safe.  I put my own fear aside and stepped up for them.  That is what this photo reminds me of.  No matter how big they get my love for them is constant and only grows.

Love Only Grows 8x10 Framed Art

Remember my little Quinn, the baby who didn't like to sleep?  Well this photos was so us!  You never knew where you would find us curled up sleeping.  My hubby use to say it was like playing hide and seek in the morning trying to figure out which room we finally ended up in.  If you read any of my past posts you will know I suffer from insomnia and sleep doesn't come easily to me.  I am still shocked thinking back on the fact I use to be able to fall asleep anywhere!  This drawing reminds me of those sweet little naps the two of us use to take together.  Waking up to the sound of Quinn cooing or wiggling about is one of my favorite memories :)

These are just a few of the many items offered in this collection.  Each are heartfelt, each will stir a memory.  They make a perfect gift for Mother's Day, birthdays or even a just because gift.  No matter the occasion they are sure to get a smile
They can be a gift for mom or child!

Alkaline88

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own
How do you water?  That is a pretty strange question, but a relevant one!  I live in the country so my water is hard and turns my pipes orange.  Not the best way to water, my sister lives in town and I can only imagine what type of crud she has in her water.
Or course we filter it and are strong believers in bottled water.
Little did we know not all bottled water is created equally!  Some is better then others.
Alkaline88

That is how I learned about Alkaline88 achieves its 8.8 pH level through a state-of-the-art, completely chemical-free scientific process.
HUH?
Yeah that is what I said until I read the reasons to drink Alkaline water did you know it helps to keep your cells young and hydrated?  Not only that but, it helps to maintain or natural PH balance.
Oh I am not done yet proper PH balance helps us to fight off harmful diseases and boosts our immune system!

Who else is debating now how do you water?
Alkaline88 uses 84 trace Himalayan minerals to make the balance and taste top quality.  They have made water an art form, that we can all benefit from.
Dr. Jamie Koufman, an internationally renowned expert on reflux, and researcher Dr. Nikki Johnston studied how alkaline water destroyed pepsin, a stomach enzyme that when activated by acid causes painful reflux symptoms that can lead to cancer. According to the findings published in the Annals of Otology, Rhinology & Laryngology, July 2012, natural artesian alkaline water with an 8.8 pH instantaneously inactivated human pepsin in laboratory studies. Ordinary tap and bottled waters had no such effect.
I was able to samples some and though I am not a doctor and can't tell you want is going on inside of my body I can tell you the water is crisp and refreshing and I am pretty impressed!

So let me ask you one more time.
How do you water?

SheIn

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid to write this review.
SheIn you have let me down for the last time!

Did you ever have a company that you purchase an item from and was amazed at the fit and quality.  Then the next item they sent was a huge let down?  But you keep going back hoping PRAYING that they will return to that first amazing sale?
Welcome to my relationship with SheIn
The first item they sent me was amazing and I fell in love instantly.  It fit just right and the colors were bold and beautiful.
The next several items they sent me didn't fit right and were no where near what the size chart said they would be.
So I adjusted and started to order 3 sizes up!   I am an XL, but I started to order 4XL
Smart right?
Yeah until I ordered a dress and had it come in the wrong color!
Considered me let down and pretty freaking depressed.
I was ready to give up just yet though, I ordered another Dress and hat and again was impressed.  Yes I had to order up 3 sizes, but it arrived and was so pretty!  The color was even correct this time.
I was amazed.

So I thought WOW things are going to go back to normal WRONG!  I ordered a top for review only to have it show up ripped :(
This may not be the companies fault, but at this point I am fed up.
Their clothing doesn't fit right, sometimes they don't send the right colors and now I get a ripped top.
I love you SheIn, but this is the end of our relationship.  You have let me down for the last time.  Dear readers if you like playing the guessing game with size, color and quality then SheIn is for you.  I on the other hand I am out!

Here is the top I was suppose to get

The top lace part was disconnected in some areas from the shirt when it arrived

Who wants a Mother's Day gift that reduces Stress?? ME PLEASE!! @CIVisions @TrudeauKitchen

Products in this post were given to me for review consideration.  I was not paid to write this post all opinions are my own
Please raise your hand if you ever made a super yummy dessert only to have it ruined when it stuck to the bottom of the pan you were using.  If you are not raising your hand you are a fibber...  or in public in which case keep your hand down you don't want the locals thinking you are crazy lol

I know it has happened to me more times then I want to admit.  I sit in my house for hours smelling my yummy treat bake away.  I open the oven when it is time and see this glorious creation.  I let it cool and then when I got to remove BAM, KLOP AND MEH.
It is ruined RUINED!  Part of it stuck to this dish in a desperate attempt to free it I smashed this on the counter top with all the strength of The Hulk, BAM.  When this failed I turned the dish upside down and began to vigorously shake it, at which point just the top feel off, KLOP.  Finally admitting defeat I get out my butter knife scrap it out put it back together as best I can, MEH.

Then I discovered silicon dishes!  WHOA HOA!   I could bake in these little babies and just POP my treats out......  Yeah or so I thought, I loaded my muffin pan up with wet batter went to pick it up and the wet batter went every where, SPLAT!  The movable silicon was ultimately its own downfall.

I can't lie at this point I felt pretty defeated/stress and then I found Trudeau’s innovative silicone with integrated steel bakeware!
And yes you heard that right!  It has the amazing popping power of silicone and the stability of steel.

That means I wont have BAM, KLOP, MEH OR SPLAT (in case anyone is wondering, yes I am having way to much fun with these words lol)
This is how it works The Company’s unique structured steel frame design and seamless sealed silicone technologies provide the perfect baking and browning and makes treats easy to release and pans effortless to clean.
No more need for a separate tray underneath. Whether making entrees, desserts, or diet-sensitive mini meals, there is a pan for both him and her including a Loaf, Round and Square Cake Pan, three different sized Muffin Pans (6, 12, and mini)

and a Pie Plate Pan.

You get the ease of silicone and the peace of mind of steal :)
As a baker I don't know what more I could ask for, hmmmm well maybe just someone to come clean up after I am done

So I can't let you go with out giving you some recipes to try!

Freshpet FreshFit Challenge giveaway

Freshpet, Inc. maker of fresh, real food for pets, has teamed up with The Pet Show with Dr.Katy on Washington, D.C.’s News Channel 8, and ResQwalk, a free mobile app that enables you to raise money for animal welfare groups just by walking, for The FreshFit Challenge to raise awareness about pet obesity in the United States.
According to The Association for Pet Obesity Prevention, over 50% of dogs in the United States are overweight or obese, but by incorporating fresher, less processed foods into your pet’s diet, along with proper exercise, Freshpet and Dr. Katy Nelson believe we can overcome this life-threatening disease. By joining The FreshFit Challenge, not only are you and your pup walking your way to a healthier lifestyle, you’re helping deserving pets in need.
Here’s how it works. For every mile you walk, you earn part of a monthly pool of money that will be donated to Bideawee, a pet rescue and welfare organization servicing NYC and Long Island, or you may choose to donate your portion of the funds to the pet charity of your choice. To get started, simply download the ResQwalk app or log on to www.freshpet.com for more details. The FreshFit Challenge runs now throughMay 4, 2016.
Dr. Katy Nelson, nationally recognized veterinarian and host of The Pet Show with Dr. Katy, will provide plenty of inspiration and education along the way through informative blog posts, live FAQ sessions with prizes, and updates on The FreshFit Challenge’s collective goal of walking 200,000 miles over four weeks.

“Nothing is more important than exercise and a proper diet for you and your pet,” says Dr. Katy Nelson. “The more we can do to help motivate pet parents to spend quality time exercising with their pets benefits all of us. We hope everyone will join us in walking our way towards better health.”
If you need a little extra motivation as you walk your way to helping others:
Simply set a personal goal in the ResQwalk app. The first 1,000 to reach their goal will receive a Freshpet coupon.
The more miles you walk, the more meals will be donated to Bideawee.
Everyone who participates will automatically be entered to win one of three Freshpet Prize Packs, to include Freshpet gear, food, and more!

“We are delighted to team up with Dr. Katy Nelson and ResQWalk for the FreshFit Challenge to raise awareness and encourage action against pet obesity,” says Scott Morris, Co-founder of Freshpet. “Helping improve the health and wellbeing of our pets is at the very core of what we do.”
