Sullivan Entertainment

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid to write this review  ALl opinions are my own.
As a little girl I couldn't wait to get home finish my homework and watch Tv with my mom.  I know most likely not the most healthiest parenting style.... But hey I am 29 with two amazing little boys, a job, a house and great marriage and a pretty awesome life.  Watch all that TV didn't ruin me ;)

Okay enough about that back to the TV shows we use to watch.  Now there was many but several were at the top of the list:
Little House of the Prairie
The Waltons
I love Lucy
Anne of Green Gabels
Buffy
All in the Family
Bewitched
I dream of Jeannie

I most likely seen every single episode of those shows at least twice!  Some even 10 times (I am a personal fan of the Little House of the Prairie episode with Laura rolls Nellie into the lake :)!!!!)
These shows were my favorite as a kid growing up.  And watching them with my mom is one of the few good memories I have of her growing up

My mom still watches those same shows and if I seen every episode twice she had to see them each at least 20times!  That is why I am super excited about her Christmas gift this year.  You see my mom is a bit obsessed if you have not caught on.  Sadly she has to wait for reruns to come on tv and watch them from her DVD collections she doesn't have them all.
That is why when I found Sullivan Entertainment I just knew I had to get her gift from them
Not only do they offered the DVD's from some of her favorite shows, they also have merchandise!!   Clothing, dolls, perfume, posters, cards and so much more.  Everything a true fan would love
When I was told to pick one thing from the site for review I had a pretty tough time choosing.  I wanted to get myself something from the Downton Abbey collection.  It took a lot for me not to be selfish and get something for my mom instead.
So I choose

This set includes a lovely 12" Anne of Green Gables porcelain Doll, wearing the iconic Puffed Sleeved Dress and the three part 20th Anniversary Anne of Green Gables DVD set.Filmed amidst the spectacular scenery of Prince Edward Island, these Emmy Award-winning productions span two decades, from Anne's struggles as an orphan in a small maritime community, to her triumphs as a young teacher, to her search for her husband on the battlefields of Europe. A delicate, moving epic full of wit, style and emotional power.

Now not only will my mom own some of the DVD's she will have her very own Anne of Green Gables Doll!  The Doll is beautiful and stunning in its details!  I cannot wait to see my mom's face Christmas morning when she opens this package.

This is just one of the items offered from the Anne of Green Gables collection.  And the Anne of Green Gables collections is only one of the many offered on the site.  As I said they have Downton Abbey, Little Women, Jane Austen and so much more!  To see all they have to offer please check out my link below:

25 days of Christmas

Disclaimer:  I was given items in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid to write this review.  All opinions are my own,
Like most families we do the advent calendar.  Each year my boys start on December 1st eating one piece of candy a day.  It is fun, but what makes it even better is the new book tradition we started last year.
Wondering what I mean?
I wrap up 25 books in Christmas paper.  And everyday starting December 1st my boys pick a book to unwrap together and then we read it as a family!  It is so much fun!  Not only do they get to unwrap something, it is always exciting to see which book they choose from under the tree.  Also we then get to spend time together as family.  Last year Brandon could read pretty good so we took turns reading the pages.  This year Quinn can read as well (Well he is learning site words so he can recognize those)

Skylander Costumes

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid to write this review.  All options are my own.
As a little girl I was obsessed with all things my little pony.  The pony toys, the movies, the themed items.  If it had a pony on it I wanted it.  Let me rephrase that: I needed it

Fast forward 23 years and I am now raising two little boys with the same addictive personality.  Except their addiction of choice is Skylanders!
We have Skylander bedding, all the Skylander games, Skylander clothing, Skylander toys and so much more!  I think Skylanders are pretty awesome so I am okay with this!
Last night we even stayed up super late watching the all new Skylander Academy on netflix!

Now another small fact you may not know about my kiddos is we keep most of our costumes.  They are under their beds in a box.              You see I like for my kiddos to have HUGE imaginations so costumes are just must!  Something is wrong if they don't get our their dress up bin at least twice a week.
That is why when I heard Skylanders are now offered a whole line of costumes I just knew we had to have one!
And that is how we became the proud owners of ChopChop

My dad has a November birthday and of course Christmas is just 1 month afterwards.... and the man is impossible to shop for!  Whenever I ask what he wants he always just tells me to get him what I got him last year.
So for the past 10 years I have been making my dad gift baskets for his birthday and Christmas.
And not just any gift basket these baskets are filled with snacks, movies and comfortable PJ's.

U Star Novels

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid to write this review.
I like to read, my boys like to read and reading as a family is one of our favorite activities.  My personal library is so large I have to keep buying book shelves to hold all my boys!
Some of our favorite stories are of course the classics!  I still remember the look of awe on my boys face the first time I read to them about the China Town in the Wizard of Oz!  Or when Charlie found the Golden ticket.  I remember the cheering that went on when Peter Pan defeated Hook or the day Quinn cried when I read to him how Black Beauty's friend had died.  Books have opened up so many worlds to my boys and each chapter is like a new adventure.

I am sure it will come as no surprise when I was given the chance to have a classic book with our names in it I was beyond thrilled!!  A book were we become the story.
And of course I choose one of our favorite
Alice in Wonderland!

Now this book cover was taken from their site.  On my book it has my name instead of Alice :)
I got to choose who would be what character.
Alice - Savannah
Her Pet Cat -Rufus (Who is really our dog)
The Cheshire Cat - Binky (My sons nickname)
The white Rabbit - Loki

The King of Hearts - Boopie (My hubby's nickname)

As you can see I choose a book that my entire family could be part of!  My hubby, both my boys and even my 3 dogs.  As I read this story to my kiddos they get super excited waiting to hear each of our names.  And it is like hearing a favorite classic for the first time again.

Skylanders Imaginators

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid to write this review all opinions are my own.
Skylanders took over my house a few years ago.  As a kid I was a Spyro fan.  I could play that game for hours and never get bored.  When I seen Skylanders and my beloved Spyro, I thought wow I bet the boys would love this.
And oh how right I was.  Surprising my hubby and I also like it too!  The game is fun, challenging and has a creative story line.  There is always some type of mission to complete and the fact each character has different moves, makes it forever changing.
We have Giants, Swap, Trap, SuperChargers and now Skylanders Imaginators!!

As with all the other Skylander games you are given a portal to bring your favorite player alive.  You simply pick a guy put them on and tada they are in the game.
I love how much detail goes into each character.  The little figures you get look exactly as they do in the game.  Skylanders go all out with the details.

The beloved kids video game franchise is trailblazing the Toys to Life category yet again with Skylanders Imaginators:
Create your very own Skylanders  - choose their body parts, size, catch phrase, powers, colors, theme music and so much more- with Creation Crystals and play through new storyline and gameplay.
New Skylanders Senseis - 20 new characters and 11 villains including Kaos (FREE with starter pack purchase until October 21 or while supplies last!), and special guest stars Crash Bandicoot and Dr. Neo Cortex.
Starter pack ($74.99USD) includes two Sensei characters, one Creation Crystal, Portal of Power and game disc available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 1, Xbox 360 and WiiU.

Skylanders Imaginators empowers players to unleash their imaginations by giving them thefreedom to create their own Skylander character, plus support of all 300+ Skylanders from previous games. The game will also feature Sensei toys and characters including this year’s guest stars Crash Bandicoot, Dr. Neo Cortex and Kaos. Fans can also create on-the-go with the free SkylandersCreator App (select iOS and Android devices), offering the same in-game character creation tools plus the option to bring creations to life as a t-shirt, 2-D playable card, or a fully playable 3-D printedSkylanders Imaginators toy!

Fidophile

Disclaimer I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid to write this review.  All opinions are my own.
My kids are my heart.  I love them and would do anything for them!  Now I should tell you I have 5 kids.  Two that look just like me and 3 that have fur and tend to bark.  In my family the pets are family.  It breaks my heart to see people treat them like property.  From the moment you walk into my home you know that my pups are also my kids.  If the overflowing toy bin doesn't  clue you off the photos of them competing for space on the shelves will.  Or the fact that my couch is never without at least a hair or two

Now as I said I have lots of photos of my pets.  So I know when I was contacted by Fidophile I was a bit iffy about reviewing for them.  A pet photo place?  I already have hundreds of photos of my pets.  What I didn't know at the time was not only do they frame your pets photo, but they also let you type up a cute little poem or what you want about them and then they give a section of back-round about your pets breed!
Ever go onto google and search your last name to see where your family comes from?  That is what Fidophile has done, but for our pets!
Now all my pups are mixed breed, so I just stuck to writing their names and a little something about them myself.

Either way pure breed or mixed Fidophile is offer a super cute product that pet owners everywhere are sure to love!

The site is pretty easy to use and very self explanatory,  my only complaint is when I was writing about my pups the size was so small I could hardly see what I was typing.
I am not sure if this has to do with my computer settings of something on the site.  Either way it was a small hiccup and in no way took away from the charm of this cute product!
Here is an example from the site on how you can personalize your Fidophil product

It is a toy, no a pillow, no a unicorn, NO A DRAGON!

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.
Has anyone else heard of the all new FlipaZoo stuffed toy?  Well pillow/toy?
No?  Me either until I was asked to do this review and I have to say my boys and I are pretty impressed!

Here is why
You can use this toy as a unicorn or flip it and use it as a dragon!  My boys like to play castle games so they have been pretending this is a shapeshifter :)
When they are not using it as a toy they have been resting their heads on him/her as a pillow!
You get 3 things in one little character!  A dragon toy, a unicorn toy and a pillow!  Wait 4 things since it can be a unicorn pillow or a dragon pillow!!

FlipaZoo, the TOY that flips for you! Not One, it’s a Two- in-One toy pillow from the first name in fun, Jay at Play. FlipaZoo will be delivering two times the Fun for Everyone! Their unique character combinations feature some of today’s most sought-after animals – including a Husky that easily Flips into a Polar Bear, a Unicorn that Flips into a Dragon, a Giraffe that Flips into a Hippo, and there are many more to choose with FlipaZooThe must-have FlipaZoo assortment is now available at www.flipazoo.com.

Shark® Rocket Complete with DuoClean™ Technology

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid to write this review.
I love my dogs, I love my dogs I love my dogs....  I love my hubby I love my hubby I love my hubby..... I LOVE My kiddos I love my kiddos I love my kiddos
I get off Tuesday and Wednesday each week, the entire week I just fantasize about chilling out on the couch, painting my nails, reading the new copy of the TV guide....
And every week I find myself standing in front of a huge mess saying the words above.  As I slowly watch my pampering 2 days drift away I have to remind myself I love the jerks....  I mean darlings making this mess

And this week was the worse since we had rain!  Now I have dirt not only on the floors, but all the furniture to.  And my boys for some sick reason think it is okay to get into their beds with muddy shoes on.  Needless to say this week it is extra messy.  But don't worry last week my brand new vacuum arrived.  One that can stand up to those tough messes
Shark® Rocket Complete with DuoClean™ Technology

Shark’s most technologically advanced ultra-light upright, provides remarkable floor to ceiling cleaning and obliterates embedded dirt and stuck-on dust, while providing improved flexibility.

I can use it several different ways.  I can use it as a reg. vacuum cleaner and do the floors.  I can remove some of the middle and use it on the couch with the head to give my furniture the same deep clean.  I can leave on all the nozzles and just remove the head to give my curtains the once over.  This is also great for getting into those super small areas.

With Triple Particle Cleaning designed for an incredible clean, the new dual brushroll system automatically transitions from floors to carpets.

Which is great for someone like me who loves area rugs!

With two brush rolls working together, the Shark Rocket Complete with DuoClean Technology picks up large particles, small particles, and stuck-on particles — on all types of floors and carpets.

With 3 pups, a messy hubby and wild children I have all three types of particles.  And after using this vacuum for several days now I can safely say it picks them all up with ease.

I also want to mention there is several tools included to help you clean all the areas in your home.  In that one hard to reach corner behind the book shelf that you (okay I) hope no one ever notices:)!
The cord is super long so I can do both of my big rooms without needed to unplug and move

Putting it together was a breeze and once together it is all pretty self explanatory

Crayola Emoji Maker Crayola Air Marker Sprayer

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.   I am not paid to write this review.  All opinions are my own.
My kids are the Emoji kings lol.  When I type my sister a message on facebook they are both begging to insert an Emoji....  My sister still tries to forget the day we sent 20 poop emojis.  My kiddos were not happy with her for getting sick and canceling their sleepover.
They do love putting these cool little symbols in messages and now thanks to Crayola they can write hand written notes and add Emojis!  As many of their little heart desires.  Sometimes they don't even use words they just write an Emoji letter.
So yes it gets two huge thumbs up from my boys, but let me tell you why I love it

1) Not only can you make  Emoji's but you also make the colors!   you can choose just to do red, blue ect or you can mix them together and make a purple Emoji marker or even do a blue and yellow to make a green marker.  For me as a mom it was exciting watching Quinn learn which colors mixed together make different colors
2) It helps kiddos be creative.  Brandon jr wrote me a letter and instead of writing dog he replaced that with the paw print Emoji.  Instead of saying love he used the little heart.  I loved seeing just how creative he could get in his letters.
3)  This set is by Crayola so you just know the colors are high standard and very bold/bright!

The only thing I wish was a bit different is I wish they would give you different size marker.  I think it would have been neat to have big Emoji's, small ones, medium ones.

Overall though my boys LOVE it!  And I love the fact they are learning as they play

Crayola Emoji Maker

And since we are talking about an amazing brand let me tell about product Crayola will be offering this holiday season!
Crayola Air Marker Sprayer: Kids can airbrush like the pros with Crayola’s Air Marker Sprayer. Compatible with all CrayolaMarkers, this tool creates high quality art that can be used in tons of different ways. Stencils and Markers are included.

I LOVE the fact it is compatible with all Crayola markers!  My Quinn is quite the crafter, when I use to pick him up at preschool his bin was the only one over flowing with papers.  One day his teacher told me that when the rest of the kiddos play he sits and does art.  That is what he wants to do.  At home to we have a whole art area set up just for him so he can draw, color and paint  his little heart out.
So for me this Crayola Air Marker Sprayer gets two HUGE thumbs up.  It will last us for a very long time, I don't need to buy special markers to for it so the overall cost will be low.

Now lets talk about the kind of art my boys have been doing.  You see Quinn may be my crafty child, but Brandon Jr loves all things wrestling.  For his birthday we took him to WWE in Hershey.   And Quinn of course loves it too, so they do this cute little thing where they set up their ring get out their tag team guys and then make little signs for me to hold up (I am the audience) to cheer on a certain wrestler.  Thanks to the Crayola Air Marker Sprayer my signs look better then ever before!
Over the weekend we made a birthday card for my nephew and they have so many other plans
This is a def. must have toy this holiday season!
With Crayola you always know you are getting both fun and quality

Marshall with Car
Rocky/Rumble/Zuma/Sky/Everest all with their vehicles
Ryder on his 4 wheeler
Paw Patrol look out
Paw Patrol Walkie Talkies
Paw Patrol Bed sheets

I am not joking when I tell you this was Quinn's Christmas list last year!  We just started to make his list for this year and he wants the Big Marshal as he calls him and the Paw Patrol Pad and some type of Paw Patrol Helicopter.
My son is obsessed and it is okay with me, because I think the Paw Patrol pups are sweet and promote friendship and working together.  3 things this mama looks for when letting her boys watch TV.
We do have several Paw Patrol DVDS and my DVR is over loaded with episodes, but when I seen Paw Patrol had a Christmas DVD I just knew Quinn had to have it!

Unwrap a high-action adventure this holiday season with a collection from one of the hottest preschool series on TV, PAW Patrol: Pups Save Christmas. This latest puppy collection features daring rescues with just the right amount of holiday cheer! Join Ryder, Chase, Everest and the rest of the gang as they embark on snow-filled adventures to help Santa save Christmas, rescue penguins and polar bears, and much more. • Pups Save the Penguins - Someone has been swiping fish off Cap'n Turbot's boat, so he calls Ryder and the PAW Patrol to help investigate. Now, the pups have to catch the slippery suspects and find a way to get them back to the South Pole.
  • Pups Save the Pop-Up Penguins - Ryder and PAW Patrol are enjoying a sunny summer day at the beach when a call comes in from Mr. Porter.  He and Alex were at the train station to pick up a big frozen fish order only to discover it's been eaten by some stowaway penguins that have scattered all around Adventure Bay.
  • Pups Save Skye - Skye is on her way to Jake's Mountain to meet up with Everest and Ace when a storm blows in and she crash lands in the snow. They find her but can't reach her on the steep mountain. Ryder calls in Everest - ice or snow she's ready to go!
  • Pups Save Sports Day - The pups are all excited to be a part of Adventure Bay's Sports Day until Everest realizes that she can't show off her snowboarding skills in the summer.  Ryder and the pups race into action to build her a snowboard half-pipe, complete with snow, but Daring Danny X's impatience sends the snow making machine on a tear around the stadium covering everything. The pups slip and tumble through their summer sporting events, until Ryder and Everest decide that the new and improved snowy themed events are even more fun than the regular sports.
  • Pups Bear-ly Save Danny - When Daring Danny X tries to outdo Everest on his motorized snowboard, he gets stuck in a tree and wakes up a hibernating Momma bear.  Skye air-lifts Danny off, while the pups lure Momma down with honey flavored treats.  When the same tempting treats draw the baby bears out of the cave and up into the tree, Everest and Marshall must get the bears safely back into their cave.
