John Paul Pet Review

John Paul Pet product Review

If you are like me your pets mean the world to you!  I love my 2 pups as if they were my kids.  So with that being said I want to make sure they are exposed to only the best.  When shopping for my pups quality is always a must!
I was so excited when I was given the chance to review John Paul Pet Products I've heard some many good things about them and couldn't wait to try them for myself and be able to tell you about my experience!
The first thing I noticed was how large the bottles were!  They really give you a lot of product.  Their products smell amazing!  My pups have never smelled better!
I always like to tell you a bit about the company before I start my review.  I think it helps for consumers to know the brands they buy :)
I'm taking my next paragraphs right from the john Paul pet website:

*~*~*~John Paul Pet – pet care with a salon pedigree.
30 years ago John Paul DeJoria, co-founder of Paul Mitchell Systems, revolutionized the professional salon industry by banning animal testing for his line of hair products. John Paul’s in-depth expertise in hair and skin care formulations also led to research in new standards for pet grooming and hygiene, which lead to the creation of John Paul Pet shampoos, conditioners, sprays and pet wipes.
John Paul Pet shampoos and conditioners are pH balanced so they don’t irritate sensitive pet skin and the entire line is “tested on humans first” to ensure effectiveness and safety for all pets. John Paul Pet actively supports programs benefiting all animals, including Best Friends Animal Society, The Morris Animal Foundation, PAWS, The California Wildlife Association, The Humane Society of the United States, as well as numerous Humane Society of America and SPCA events, pet rescue organizations and pet charities nationwide.*~*~*~

So you can buy from John Paul with the guarantee you are giving your pet only the best.
Now for my review:
I received the
John Paul Pet Puppy Care Pack and John Paul Pet Ear & Eye Wipes.  I loved all of the products I could tell they were designed and formulated with our pets in mind.
They smell amazing and have ingredients I know wont harm my dogs.
John Paul Pet Ear & Eye Wipes are were made to keep your dog’s ears and eyes clean and  odor free. Designed to deal with tear stains, dirt and anything else they may build up in our pups eyes and ears.  These were so easy to use and really got the job down.  My lab loves to swim!  My hubby takes her out to the lake with him and she always comes home with god knows what in her ears.  I love these wipes I can literally get all the grim out!

The puppy kit has waterless foam shampoo which I LOVE the smell of!  A reg. shampoo and paw wipes.  I have been using these products for a few weeks now and I'm still in awe of how amazing they work!  Like I said before my lab likes to swim so she is always a messy girl :)  With the John Paul products I know I can always get her squeaky clean again :).

I was trying to take a photo of my cleaning Lucy's ears but she seemed to think the camera wanted kisses!  :)  And I thought this photo was to cute not to share!

2012 Presidential Election

The 2012 Presidential election is almost here!!  This is only the 2nd time I will old enough to vote.  :)

*~*~For once my dad and I agree on something, we will both be voting for Romney and Ryan.*~*~

My hubby thinks my dad and I are dorks, because we went all out for the debate last night!  We got a pizza, soda and I made chip dip :)  My hubby came home and asked if it was for the Monday night football game.  After a huge eye-roll I told him it was for the debate and he made some smart butt remark that my dad and I should just get Romney and Ryan Jerseys while we were at it! (Yes everything evolves around football to my hubby!)  My dad not getting sarcasm asked "where do you buy them?"!!!
LOL

So is it just my dad and I who get excited to watch the debates?

The first time I seen my boys I couldn't even tell which end was their head!  They didn't have fingers or toes or ears or a nose... but they were mine.  Looking at their sonograms I was in awe of the LIFE growing inside of me.  I loved them long before the day they were born.
Their LIFE was precious long before they were born.

Soon I will be celebrating both of their birthdays!!

Brandon Jr. will be 5 on November 1st
and
Quinn will be 2 on November 22nd  he has a Thanksgiving B-day this year :)

Three P's In A Pod Review

Three P's In A Pod Review

If you are like me you hate having people go into your bathroom!  I feel like its never clean and its just blah!  The kids normally have a mess in the sink or tooth paste squirted where it shouldn't be.  And the hubby I swear has a personal vendetta against putting the toilet seat down.
Well recently I was given the chance to review a product that has me DRAGGING people into my bathroom!!
My new customized shower curtain!  I absolutely love it!  It took my ordinary blah bathroom and made it beautiful and something I'm proud to show off.  It really brings the whole room together.  It is a shower curtain made special just for me.

I received the Damask Shower Curtain.  I customized the colored strip in the middle to match my bathroom.  Also I got the M for my last name :)  It is made with  100% Polyester fabric and sublimated with designs. Sublimation becomes part of the fabric due to the technique used.  You can machine wash and it will not fade, crack or peel.  I'm yet to wash mine though :)
Measures approx. 69x70 inches finished.  Has eyelet hooks at the top for hanging.  I can tell by the material this is a top quality shower curtain!  My little guys had a bad habit of tearing the old curtains.  I know for a fact I don't have to worry about that with this curtain.  I'm sure you can see for yourself how pretty the my shower curtain turned out!  It really does make your bathroom a bragging right ;)!  And yes my mom is totally jealous.

I think the shop is going to be having a Christmas Sale soon too!!  So you definitely want to check out her shop!

Catching up

I'm sorry I have not been blogging much lately.
Sadly a death in my family has occurred.  My cousin has recently passed away.  I don't want to go into detail, but just explain it is why I have not been posting lately.
My cousin was an amazing man and his death has left my family broken.  He will be dearly missed :(

I do apologize for not being on much lately and hopefully I can make it up to all of you.  Be on the look out around Oct. 26 I will have a new giveaway posted. I do have a few reviews for great products I will be posting and I'll be playing Catch up with my blog!  I completely missed posting about my wedding anniversary.  So I do want to make a post dedicated to that also even though it will be late.  Also the Holidays are coming up so I want to get some post about for that too.

The Very First Bite By Cynthia Langston

The Very First Bite By Cynthia Langston

As most of you know reading is a passion for me.  I'm always looking for new authors and series to follow.  I truly love everything from paranormal, classic, historical, suspense, erotica, ect ect ect...   I trying to explain to my hubby that me reading a good book is like him watching the Super Bowl   :)

I'm sure you can imagine my delight when I was contact by an author to review a new book!!  I couldn't wait to start and after reading the book must say I have found a new favorite author!

The Very First Bite follows the main character Lanie, she is about a 30 something woman who is desperately trying to look amazing for her upcoming high school reunion.  And she has tried it all!  Going from bad diets to way to much exercise, she keep pushing herself in an attempted to be her very best!  The story does have a happy ending as Laney finds peace with herself and food.  Her story though is a must read, watching her overcome and conquer the same problems that every day women go through!
I think all and any woman will enjoy this book.  The characters and plot is enjoyable and relate-able.
You will fall in love with Lanie and feel yourself really wishing her the best!  I found myself smiling and truly enjoying this light fun read :)

Champion Me books review and GIVEAWAY!

Champion Me books review and GIVEAWAY!

Recently I was given the chance to review for the Champion Me books company.  It is a company that allows you to customize your children's books!  I think personalized books really promotes our children to get into reading.  I think it adds a fun twist to story time.  Also I think they make amazing keepsakes.

For this review I'm going to try something different :)  I'm going to Question myself on things I think a consumer would ask and then give my honest answer :)

So what sets Champion Me books aside from other companies?

You get to make the character in the book look like your child, your child name goes right into the book, the company has received several awards, and last and surely not least they put a lot of time and effort into making sure you get the best quality.

How is the quality and appearance of the book?

Amazing I took several photos that I will included at the end of this review to show just how high quality my sons book is.  The story kept my 4 year old and 1 year old's attention and they loved the photos!  The people who make these books really know how to entertain children.  The story line has my kids excited and the illustrations have them in awe.

What else would you say you liked about the book?

I loved the fact that I got to make a dedication at the beginning of the book.  Right now my son may not think that is a big deal, but years from now when he pulls it out I think reading it will put a smile on his face.  I know this book will be a keepsake for him and a beloved childhood memory.  The characters in the book are lovable, the story enjoyable, and no matter how many times I read it my sons always ask for me to read it again :)

What do they all offer?

The offer their stories in e-copy, soft cover, and hard cover.  They have 4 stories for you to choose from.  And it is very hard to choose each story is fun and brilliantly made.

After a long debate I choose to review "Quinn and the Stonkeroplous"
Quinn loved it and could not believe he was in the story.  At some points he even acted out what was happening in the book!  As you can see below he had his arm outstretched like book Quinn.
In a Champion Me Book your child gets to be the hero.  They are the story.
My kids couldn't wait to turn the page and see the next part of the adventure.
I really do think it made story time much more fun for both my children.  Now not only is mommy reading them a book, now I'm reading a book that they are part of.
Here is the other books that you can personalize with your child's name.
I loved that their was a dedication page that I could personalize.
I wanted to post a few photos of the amazing illustration from the book.

I'm sure you can see that my boys loved their Champion Me Book, as did I.   It really does making reading time a whole different experience.

Love Affair: With Asher's Chocolate

Review for Asher's Chocolate

Recently I was given the opportunity to review for Asher's Chocolate.  I was excited to try Asher's, little did I know that it would  turn into a love affair!!  LOL Since my first taste I couldn't get enough, then I discovered that they sell this chocolate at my local Boscovs!!  I found myself there 3 times in the past month purchasing more chocolate!!  So to say I like it would be an understatement I LOVE IT!

Before my review I want to tell you a little bit about the company:
The are a family-owned-and-operated business, they have been making fine chocolates and other classic confections for over four generations.  They use the freshest, purest ingredients.  Bringing chocolate joy to many families :)

I was sent the milk chocolate covered pretzels they are unbelievably creamy and took chocolate to a whole new tasting level!  My kids loved them and devoured the single wrapped pretzels with in a week and a half!
We didn't stop there though after our pretzels were gone we went to our local store and got milk chocolate nonpariels!

I paid 16.95 for a pound of nonperiels at the store.  They are a little cheaper online.  To be honest I didn't want to wait for them to be shipped to my house I wanted my chocolate right away.  My family loves Asher's distinct an unique creamy chocolate and I think your family will too :)

They provide more then the things I listed in my review they also carry:

Dark Chocolate Raspberry Jellies

Jelly Belly

Peanut Brittle

Toasted Coconut Marshmallow

and much much more including sugar, free milk and dark chocolate varieties!

If you want to learn more or order your own chocolate please see my link below:
