I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid to write this review.  All opinions are my own.
My oldest son was born November 1st.  All the Halloween lovers in my family were made I didn't go one day earlier!  My family is a bit strange sometimes and the way most people get ready for Christmas is how we get read for Halloween.  My brother already busted out his spooky movie.
So I'm sure you know that my kiddos are really into Halloween as well, they already have Halloween town and spooky buddies playing on repeat!
We just added a new movie to our collection and the fact it has Spongebob has made it an instant favorite.
Available on DVD September 11, 2018
SpongeBob and his Bikini Bottom friends star in Nickelodeon's original spooky stop-motion spectacular, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom, available on DVD September 11. This terrifying tale tells the story of the Flying Dutchman (Brian Doyle-Murray) coming to Bikini Bottom to make sure everyone in town is scared--especially SpongeBob, who seems to be unflappable in his belief that spooky things are actually funny.
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom fast facts:
Street Date: September 11, 2018
Running Time: 23 Minutes

So with a 10 and 7 year SpongeBob frequently visits my living room tv.  Even though he isn't my favorite I do find myself laughing at some of the stuff he does (poor Mrs.Puff)  The Legend of BOO-KINI BOTTOM, lives up to he silly humor that children everywhere have come to love about their favorite sponge.  Now the graphics are a bit different then what my kids are use too, but the still love it.  I personally thought it was beautifully done and wouldn't mind seeing more episodes like this

Disclaimer I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.
When I first started to date my hubby (2005!!!) he would never  take off his shoes!  At 17 I thought this was so weird.  Here we were hanging out sitting on the bed watching tv and he had his shoes on?  A few years later he got comfortable and started to take them off, I wish he would have kept them on lol
He feet smelled so bad!  His socks smelled and so did his shoes.  His feet would sweat a lot and of course if left an order on his shoes and socks.  Fast forward several years later and it seems our boys have he same issues.  They have 101 products for sweaty pits, but nothing for feet.  Then I was contacted by CARPE.  An antiperspirant for hands and feet!  Why didn't I know about this product before?!?!

Carpe makes a powerful over-the-counter antiperspirant hand and foot lotion that is gentle enough for everyday use. It reduces embarrassing hand and foot sweat (as well as foot odors) that are prevalent among kids, particularly those approaching puberty. As a matter of fact, Carpe was developed by two college buddies who suffered from embarrassing sweat issues in high school. Of course, Carpe isn't JUST for teens and tweens with severe sweat.

Other uses include:
As a foot antiperspirant for use with athletic shoes or flats (goodbye blisters!)
As a targeted antiperspirant for specific problem areas like the chest
As a grip aid for golfers, tennis players, weight lifters, and more

Carpe is sold over-the-counter at CVS locations nationwide for $14.95. It is also available at or

Okay so here are my thoughts.  The product really does work!  My son has a 2 hours soccer practice and his feet don't get anywhere near as soggy as they use to.  Don't get me wrong there is still some sweat, but it doesn't stink.  When you first put this product on there is a bit of a smell.  I kind of reminded me of rubbing alcohol, but after a minute or 2 that smell went completely away.
My son does have a long practice and the product never wore off.  I didn't test it yet to see how long it would last, but I have a feeling it would be awhile.

I am in love with this product and I know I'm going to be buying it over and over again.  I may even get an extra bottle just to store in my boys sports bags/gym bags.

I was provided a copy of this book from booklook bloggers.  I was not paid to write this review

Join bestselling author and beloved pastor Max Lucado as he leads you through 30 life-changing promises from God in Praying the Promises. You’ll experience a more intimate and effective prayer life and a deeper faith in the God who keeps every promise.

God makes His character clear throughout the Bible: He is a God who saves us, who is faithful, who sends His Comforter, and who has a good and holy purpose for our lives.

In short, He keeps His promises.

But what does that look like in a broken world? Surrounded by confusion, darkness, violence, and pain, where do we see the promises of God at work in our everyday lives?

Max Lucado invites you into a deeper understanding of the peace and security God offers His people in Praying the Promises, a beautiful book that tells stories of God’s faithfulness and offers tangible ways to implement faith into your own prayer life. I am a huge fan of Max Lucado, I felt like this book wasn't as fulfilling as his others.  Don't get me wrong, it was good.  Just with Max I have come to expect great
The book is def. worth checking out, it is more along the lines of a devotional.  The reason I gave it 3 stars is because I have several devotionals and this is the one I reach for last

Stylish Kids Room, Delta Children

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own
My kids room on a good day is still a mess.  We have a super small house so even leaving out one toy makes the room look cluttered.
I have discovered that having a bin for everything and keeping it all organized goes a far way in keeping the room looking good.
The thing is some times those bins just look drab.  And they aren't always that functional.  We have one with hinges that snaps close and nearly take a finger off each time.
So not kid friendly.  That is why I love companies like Delta Children!
All of Delta Children's products are made with kids in mind.  From style, make and design.
Delta Children has so many fun products and there is no way I could cover them all in one post.  So today I am just going to highlight their Nolan Toy Box !

Here is what I loved right away.  I didn't need many tools to put it together!
It came with a handy Allen wrench and I used my screw driver.  That is all that is needed.  Most of the toy box I was able to put together myself.  There is these really nice soft closing hinges that prevents the toy box from slamming shut on little fingers.  I did need my hubby to hold it at just the right angle while I put the screws into place.

I also like the fact there is a space in the front to put books or other small items.  My boys always loose the remote for their room, so we have been placing that in the front area as well.

It does have some nice weight to it, so I don't need to worry about my boys tipping it over.

The opening is really big so it makes clean up super easy on my kids.

The wood feels and looks very durable so I can see it lasting us a very long time.  And speaking of the wood it does come in several colors.  I like that even though this is a toy box, I would feel comfortable putting it in any room in my house.  It truly does have a versatile look.  I debated using it as a small coffee table for my sitting room, but my boys told me no they wanted it!

I can Only Imagine for little ones

Disclaimer  I was given products from lookbook blogger for the purpose of review.

Encourage your children’s sense of wonder and faith with I Can Only Imagine for Little Ones, inspired by the hit song by MercyMe. This delightful board book will capture your family’s childlike faith and imagination.
I Can Only Imagine for Little Ones asks questions a child might ask about God and invites families to wonder together: What is heaven like? What does God do? What would it be like to spend a day with Jesus? Children will see that although experiencing the glory of heaven may be far off, we can enjoy a friendship with Jesus every day - right here on earth. Whimsical, playful illustrations and thought-provoking questions make this a book families will cherish.
Fun and vibrant illustrations offer a vivid visual and will help your children see that God can be found everywhere, every day.
The more I imagine, the more I wish I knew.
I wonder, would God like pancakes with extra syrup too?
And if God and I spent the day together, what exactly would we do?
Would God feel what I feel? Would He see what I see?
Would He like to explore and see the world with me?
The Christian worship song “I Can Only Imagine” touched countless lives with its glorious representation of being in the presence of God, and this beautifully illustrated board book invites you and your little ones to imagine those same wonders. Share the joy of a personal relationship with the Lord with your family today through the creative, faith-filled book I Can Only Imagine for Little Ones.

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.
I have seen every Marvel super hero movie ever!  Not only have I seen them, but I also got my family addicted to them.  We are so that family that debates who would win an all out fight Thor or the Hulk!

So being the super hero junkies that we are we couldn't wait for Avengers Infinity War to come out.  And yes we have been waiting a very long time.  So I want to start off by saying it wouldn't hurt to rewatch some of the other movies.  There was a few times my hubby or I forgot what happened in a previous movie.  The kids seemed to know it all though so they just refreshed our memories.  So just a quick catch up, Tony and Steve are still on non talking terms.  The Hulk and Thor start off in the ship filled with Thor's people.  The StarLord and his crew just defeated his father.  Scarlet Witch and vision are together.  And Rocket is still the cutest little raccoon ever!
So several things I loved about this movie was we can see a lot of our favorite characters has grown as people we also get to see several of our favorite characters act differently than we are use to.  Loki does a very unLoki like thing that I think lets us all in shock.  Thor after loosing everything seems humbled, if not a bit broken.  Iron Man and Spiderman have several sweet parts in the movie.  Groot is now a teenager with attitude.  And the Hulk is refusing to come out!  What since when doesn't the Hulk jump at every chance to come out!?
I love all the crossovers.  Doctor Strange and Iron Man seem to both want to be in charge.  Throw StarLord in there and it is just a hot mess.  Poor Spider Man just seems to be along for the ride in this group.

Disclaimer:   I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.
I use our pool for the sole purpose of cooling of on these hot summer days.  I would be content to just lay back and relax.  My boys on the other hand like to splash water, throw balls and play shark like games.  So 9 times out of 10 I end up playing to!  If you can't beat them just join them lol

We just recently found  a new way to enjoy our pool and that is with the Water Melon Ball Jr

Get your UNDERWATER game on! The Watermelon Ball JR is neutrally buoyant and looks, feels, and behaves like a real watermelon in water! You can dribble, kick, pass and easily intercept the Watermelon Ball JR - even under water! Play Watermelon Ball versions of basketball, soccer, keep-away and more!
