Wholesale Costume Club review

As many of you may already know March 2nd is Dr. Suess's birthday!  In my house this is a big deal, not only do I still have many of my beloved Dr. Suess books my kids have also added to the collection.

We always start the day off with some Green Eggs and Ham, and after school we have a movie and book marathon!  I am so ready to watch the Lorax!!!
This year thanks to Wholesale Costume Club we get to add the extra fun element of Dr. Suess themed costumes.

We were sent a Cat in The Hat costume and my kiddos couldn't be more excited.
We made a deal whoever is reading at the time gets to wear the costume(Or in Quinn's case when he turns the pages for me to read)

Lets talk more about the Wholesale Costume Club Cat in the Hat costumes:
The Cat in the Hat is a story book character that is beloved by children of all ages, as well as adults. Wholesale Costume offers something for everyone with the vast sizes.  And if the cat isn't your thing no need to worry they offer several other Dr. Suess themed costumes.

I personally choose to review Cat in The Hat Kids Costume, this fun costume features a black and white bodysuit red bow attached, with a tall, red and white horizontal striped hat.  Also the tail is detachable.
I love the super soft materiel and the fact it is easy to put on I simply attach the Velcro in the back and tada!  Oh I fibbed we also have to put on a hat ;)
And speaking of hat we adore it.  It is made of polyester so its not stiff or as my kiddos would say not itchy.   I love that it stands up and doesn't flop over, giving it a real Cat in the Hat feel.
In celebration of Cat in the Hat check out the cute video below:
A Tale About Tails
Wholesale Costume Club offers high quality costumes at a great affordable price.  The Dr. Suess themed costumes are only 1 of many offered.

No matter how you choose to celebrate Dr. Suess birthday I am sure it will be awesome.  The man wrote so many beloved stories that not only entertained, but also inspired.  Whenever one of my boys are feeling down I read them Oh the Places you'll go.  When I plant my garden in the spring I can't help but think of the Lorax, when I want my boys to try new foods and the refuse I remind them of Green Eggs and Ham, Christmas isn't Christmas until we watched The Grinch.  Dr. Suess is  a legend and deserves to be celebrated :)

Hey Dude: The Complete Series review

Hey Dude: The Complete Series review

I know I can't be the only person who remembers Stick Stickly?!  I remember many lazy summer days watching Nickelodeon and I thought Stick Stickly was the best :)!
Even better though were the shows I use to watch durning the Stick Stickly era.
One of my favorites (And my Husbands) was Hey Dude.
For those unfortunate enough to have never seen the show let me tell you a bit about it.

Come on down to the Bar None Ranch, where well-meaning owner Mr. Ernst (David Brisbin) tries his best to ride herd on his teenage staff, who always seem to be getting into some sort of scrape or other as they work and play on the range.
Hey Dude stars Christine Taylor as lifeguard Melody, David Lascher as senior staff member Ted, Kelly Brown as horse trainer Brad, Joe Torres as the easygoing Danny, Debra Kalman as ranch hand Lucy and Josh Tygiel as Ernst’s son, Buddy. Hey Dude ran on Nickelodeon from 1989 – 1991 and has since become a cult sitcom favorite.

And for those of you of you like me who remember and LOVE this show let me tell you about the DVD release date.
For the first time on DVD, Shout! Factory will release Hey Dude: The Complete Series, featuring all 65 episodes of the fan-favorite series. Available March 10th, 2015, the box set also includes an interview with Christine Taylor as a bonus feature.

Hey Dude: The complete Series is only one of the things offered by Shout! Factory.  They have so many beloved shows that it would be impossible to list them all.

VeggieTales Noah's Ark

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.
A Brand-New VeggieTales Production Featuring Seven Original Songs!
VeggieTales Noah's Ark

Available March 3 on DVD and Digital Download

Carrots meet cubits as VeggieTales builds an ark filled with fun, adventure and important lessons about trusting God in
NOAH’S ARK,  its first Bible-themed production in more than four years.  Starring Wayne Brady and Jaci Velasquez, along with Larry the Cucumber, Bob the Tomato and a whole crew of Veggies!

The multi-Emmy® award-winning host of one of TV’s most famous game shows, Let’s Make a Deal, and star of Whose Line Is It Anyway brings to life Noah’s son Shem, who first questions, then learns to embrace, his father’s direction from God.  Christian singer, actress and radio host Jaci Velasquez co-stars as Shem’s wife,

the music and messages,” says Brady, who performs seven original songs in NOAH’S

In NOAH’S ARK, Shem and Sadie return home from their honeymoon to find that Noah (played by Pa Grape) has begun, at God’s direction, to work on a massive ark, which his wife Naamah (played by Madame Blueberry) and sons Ham (played
by Larry) and Japheth (played by Bob) are helping construct before the start of 40 days and 40 nights of rain.

But Shem doesn’t understand Noah’s unshakable faith in God, particularly when animals start arriving two-by-two – while the rain is nowhere to be seen. When the deluge does come, Shem begins to understand Noah’s determination to preserve humanity’s future … and the importance of trusting in God.

Every Wednesday my kiddos go to Kidz Club at our church, they adore it.  One of their favorite parts is watching VeggieTales.  Now we have been long time fans of the show, but according to them watching it at church with other kids is more fun than at home with me!!
That was until I busted out the VeggieTales all new Noah's Ark DVD, suddenly watching them at home with mom again was the best :) (Which is great I was starting to miss my favorite Veggies and felt strange watching them without the kids.)

I LOVE how VeggieTales tells the story of Noah, in a fresh new way that kids adore.  My kids are at the age where they are starting to really pay attention.  After we finished watching they had so many question and I was so proud of them for asking things about the bible.
Our favorite Veggies not only provide a good show, but also instill life lessons and morals.  All why telling the stories on the Bible.
The Veggies never cease to amazing me in how lovable and entertaining they are.
My kids can't wait for Kidz Club next week so they can tell all their friends about the all new VeggieTales!

Scooby-Doo! Moon Monster Madness

Disclosure:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review all opinions are my own.

Scooby-Doo! Moon Monster Madness

Scooby-Doo and gang has been around since I was little.  I remember watching this with my brother and we would always try to give our dogs "Scooby Snacks" to try and make them more like Scooby-Doo.
Years later and Scooby is still a beloved cartoon that I now enjoy watching with my kiddos.  Last year we bought the WWE Scooby-Doo and I swear we still watch it every other week.
When I seen that they would be releasing Moon Monster Madness I knew I had to get it for my kiddos!!
I mean come on Space and Scooby-Doo all mixed into one movie?!?!?  It doesn't get much better.

Own it on DVD & Digital HD 2/17

It’s one giant step for dog-kind as Scooby-Doo and the gang blast off for an epic journey into outer space in this must-own, original, new film! After winning the last five seats in a lottery, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma are off to space in billionaire Sly Barron’s brand new ship, the Sly Star One, a space tourism vessel setting off on its inaugural voyage. It’s all gravity-free fun until a mysterious alien begins to destroy the ship! As the vessel breaks down, the crew is forced to land on Sly Baron’s base – located on the dark side of the moon! Will the gang unravel this alien mystery? Will Scooby and Shaggy find snacks on the moon?

Bonus Features: · Space Travel is Groovy! -- Join Mindy Cohn, the voice of “Velma,” as she introduces viewers to some of the real world technology and training that is part of modern space flight.

My review:
As always Scooby-Doo and his crime busting gang keep us entertained, no matter where they are Haunted house, swamp, WWE ring and now space.
I liked that as always Scooby and Shaggy's top priority was food.  It had it all action, adventure, mystery, and comedy!  The perfect combination for a classic Scooby-Doo mystery.
